I'm so glad you're here!

Well, today…

[sniffing]

Wait a minute…
What's that smell?

[sniffing]

[deep breath] Oooo.

Tell me. Did you just have
some apple juice,

because you smell all apple-ly?

[chuckles]

[deep breath]

Or maybe you smell
this good all the time?

[chuckles]

Anyway, as I was saying,

today is a very special day at
the Big Blue House.

Today, Tutter is going
with his Grandma Flutter

on a trip for the whole day.

Hm mm.

She'll be here in a little while
to pick him up.

Hey.

Let's go see if Tutter
needs any help to get ready.

Come on!

[indistinct chatter]

Okay. Let's try this…

[grunts]

There! I got it, Tutter.
I got it closed!

Thanks, Ojo!

-Good Job!
-You're welcome.

-Hey, Ojo! Tutter!
-Hi, Bear.

Hi, Bear! Well, I'm all packed!

All packed for my trip!

-That's great…um…Tutter?
-[Tutter blabbering]

Yes, Bear?

Isn't this suitcase
a little… big?

Well, I do have
a lot of stuff, Bear.

Well, Tutter, maybe you
don't need so much stuff I mean,

you're only taking a day trip.

But I need all the
stuff I'm taking, Bear!

-I need it!
-Yeah!

I helped, and we only packed

the really important stuff that
he needed.

That's right.

Okay, but let's just
check just to be sure.

-Okay, Bear but just…
-Okay, let's see here…

Okay, Tutter.

Now, you're only going
away for the afternoon, right?

-Yeah, Bear.
-Well, then,

why do you need… let's see

one, two, three, four,
five, six, seven… eight hats?

Well I do like my hats, Bear.

Yeah, he needs his hats, Bear.

What if he has a hat emergency?

-Whoa!
-A hat emergency?

-What's that?
-Okay.

Well…a hat emergency is when,

-well you go some place, okay…

-And then you get there…
-Yeah…

And you really,
really, really need a hat.

Wow, boy!
I wouldn't want that to happen.

Yeah, that would be terrible.

Yeah, can you imagine
the embarrassment?

-Tutter.
-Yes, Bear.

Why don't you just pick one
hat to take with you, you know,

just in case a hat
emergency might occur.

-One hat?
-Hm mm.

Well,
I guess I could do that, Bear.

um, about the black beret, then?

I'll just take that one, Bear.

-Okay, Tutter.
-Yeah, right on top.

Here you go.

Good. The beret really
was the only choice.

-It does go with everything.
-Okay!

So, you have your hat.

-Yes.
-Now, Tutter.

What about all of this cheese?

Don't you think you
only need one piece?

I know,
I know, Bear, but which one?

I can't leave the rest behind!

How would they feel?

[crying] What a cruel choice
to have to make.

-Tutter…
-Okay!

You're right. You're right.
I'll just take, um…

the brie. No, no, no!
I'll take the swiss…

No, no, no! The Cheddar.
The cheddar! [sobbing]

Goodbye brie!
Goodbye swiss! Goodbye!

I'm sorry that you can't come
with my on my exciting journey!

It'll be so thrilling.

I'll watch them for you,
Tutter!

Thanks, Ojo.

So, Tutter, now that you have
your hat and your cheese,

is there anything else that you
might want to use on your trip?

Well, I don't know,
Bear…

I don't really
have anything else…

Well, maybe you could use…

-This!
-[gasps]

Is that a…could it be…
A camera!?

Oh, cool, Tutter!

Here you go, Tutter!

It's a mouse sized camera.

This way, you can take some
really cool pictures…

Yeah, pictures!
Pictures on my trip, Bear!

-That's right.
-Then, when I come back home,

I can show my pictures
to all of you guys!

That would be great.

Yeah, we are really going
to look forward to seeing them.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, my hat,
my cheddar, and my new camera!

[Tutter laughs]

That's all I need, Bear!

That's all!

Boy, I don't even need
the suitcase, Bear!

I can just carry
all this stuff!

What a great idea.

-Yeah!
-That's right, Tutter.

You know, a trip can be much
more fun

if you don't have
so much stuff to carry.

Yeah, yeah, Bear!

Well, I'm going to go wait
for grandma in the foyer!

I can't wait!

-[chuckles] Yeah!

So, Tutter's really excited
about his trip, Ojo?

Yeah. I wonder where
he and Grandma Flutter will go?

I don't know.

There are so many
places to travel to.

Hey.

Yeah! Travel!

Yeah.

Travelling means getting
from here to there.

Like, for example,

you could travel across
town to visit a friend…

A-huh. You know,
I like visiting friends, Bear!

Me too, Ojo!

Or, you could travel to
another city

to where
your grandparents live…

Cool! Cool!
All the way to another city!

You could even travel
to a faraway land

on the other side of the earth!

Yeah, But you know what I like
best about travelling, Bear?

What's that, Ojo?

Well, you get to ride in all
kinds of neat cars

and
boats and trains and stuff.

That's true, Ojo.

They don't travel
any other way.

I'd like to go to Australia.

Pennsylvania.

I'd love to travel to Hawaii.

South Carolina and Delaware.

And Washington.

And Washington.

I've never been there.

cause you weren't born yet.

a lot about travel.

Yeah, you sure do!

Ojo, where are you going?

Well, I'm going to take a trip
across the ocean, Bear.

I'm goima go to Ojo Island!

[chuckles]

There's nothing more
exciting than taking a trip.

-In fact…
TUTTER: Excuse me, Bear?

Hi, Tutter.

[groans]

Looks like you're all
set for your trip,

Yes, Bear.
I'm all ready to go, I guess.

Tutter, is everything okay?

TUTTER [stammers]: Yes, Bear.
Everything's fine.

It's just that…

It's just that it's such
a big world out there, Bear!

Such a big world!

And I'm such a little mouse!

Well, yes, Tutter.
It is a big world out there,

but it's a world filled

with wonderful
things to see and do.

Well, that's true, I guess.

Yeah. And your Grandma Flutter

will be there the whole
time to take care of you.

Oh, yeah! And I love my Grandma
Flutter a lot, Bear.

A lot!

She loves you too, Tutter.

-And you know what?
-What?

We'll all be right here waiting
for you when you get back.

Yeah!

And when I get home,

I can tell you all
about everything

I did and everything I saw!

-That's a great idea, Tutter.
-[laughter]

[Shadow laughing]

-That sounded like Shadow.
-Yeah.

-[Shadow laughing]

That was her laugh, alright.

I wonder where she is?

Tutter,
I'm going to go find her.

-Do you want to come along?
-No thank you, Bear.

I think I'll just wait here

for Grandma Flutter
to come pick me up.

But tell Shadow I say goodbye,
ok?

And I'll see you
in a few minutes.

Just don't leave before
I get back, okay?

[Tutter chuckles]
- [Bear grunts]

It sounds like
Shadow is upstairs.

Let's go find her. Come on!

I know she's up here somewhere.

Maybe if we look real hard

and sing a song
together, she'll appear.

-[Shadow laughing]

-I'm over here!

It's so good to see you.

what have you been doing today?

Oh! I was just playing a game

of hide and seek
with the sun, Bear.

I was it!

Oooo! That sounds like fun.

Well, Shadow,
would you tell us a story?

Why certainly, Bear!

I travelled far and wide
to find this one for you.

Just watch.

[dramatic music]

[cat meows]

[suspense music]

Pussycat, pussycat.

Where have you been?

Telephone for Monsieur Cat.

I'll take that.

Cat, here.

p*ssy Cat.

Hello, Pussycat.
This is the Queen.

You've got to come
to the palace at once!

I've got to go kitten.
My Queen needs me. Ha!

Be careful.

[cat purrs]

[boat engine revving]

♪ Where have you been? ♪

[boat engine revving]

♪ He's been to London ♪

[cat meows]

♪ To see the Queen ♪

Ah! The palace.

Yes, your majesty,
what can I do here?

I'm frightened.
There's a mouse under my chair.

[mouse squeaking]

Never fear, your majesty.

[mouse groans]

I guess you thought
you'd just squeak by.

[mouse squeaking]

You're welcome, your majesty.

♪ No job is too small
for Pussycat! ♪

[cat meows]

Wow! What a great story.

Yes, Bear, that little
Pussycat saw a lot on his trip.

He came back with some great
stories for his friends.

Hey, that reminds me.

Tutter is going on a trip today,
too!

He is?

Oh! What a lucky little mouse!

Is he going far?

No, Just into town
with his Grandma Flutter,

but he wanted me to tell
you goodbye for him.

Isn't that nice!

I'm sure he'll
have a fine time!

Well, I'm off now, too.

But when you need another
story, just try and catch me!

[both laughs]

[doorbell rings]

Hey! That's the doorbell!

That must be Grandma Flutter.

TUTTER: Bear!

-I'm hurrying! I'm hurrying!

[Treelo chuckles]

Well hello, everyone!
It's so good to see all of you.

Are you ready to go on our trip?

But actually,
I was just wondering…

-Where are we going to go?

to take Tutter, Grandma Flutter?

Well, first we're going to go
in my car to a Cheese factory!

We're really going to get to see
where they make the cheese?

to a restaurant for lunch!

I've never been
to a restaurant before!

I'm sure he's enjoying himself.

PIP: Oh, dear….

Oh! Hey, Treelo!
Hey, Pip. Hey, Pop!

[bored] Hi, Bear.

-So what are you guys up to?
-Nothing.

nothing's wrong, exactly, Bear.

I mean,
everything's fine, I guess.

-Except Tutter not here.
-Yeah.

Things just aren't the same
without Tutter, Bear.

Things around here are a little
different

-Treelo miss Tutter, Bear!
-Yeah, we miss Tutter, too!

That is a wonderful idea,

I just took with Grandma Flutter

to the cheese factory.

Right inside the place where
they actually make the cheese!

-Neat!
-A real cheese factory!

And at the factory they have

the biggest
piece of swiss in the world!

-Oh!
-Look at that!

That's right, sweetie!

Oh, oh! And I almost forgot!

I bought souvenirs for everyone!

For us?

Bear? What are souvenirs?

A souvenir is something
you find or buy

on a trip
to bring back for yourself,

or for a friend.

Have you ever gotten
a souvenir from a trip?

And for you, Bear, I got this.

Oh! It's a mug!

Yeah! Read what it says.

I love cheese.

[laughs]

It was great, Luna.

Tutter took his very first
trip with Grandma Flutter.

How grand!

A trip! Where did they go?

Well, they took a tour of a
cheese factory

and then went
to lunch at a restaurant.

What a great adventure.

Travelling out into the world.

Yeah, we had a great time
hearing

all about his trip
and seeing his pictures.

Mmmm. You know, Bear,

I take a very long trip
every day and night -

all the way around the world!

Wow. That is a long trip…

But you know what's the best
thing about travelling?

What's that?

Why, it's coming back here to
the Big Blue House

to visit with you, Bear.

Oh, thank you, Luna.

It's a great part of my day,
too.
