And I was wondering when
you were going to get here,

cause I'm just about
to check the mail.

Look! We've got mail.

Let's see
what's in the mail today.

It's a package.

I love getting packages
in the mail!

Well, let's take it inside
and open it. C'mon!

I wonder...

[sniffing]

What's that smell?

[sniffing]

It's you!

[exhales]

Tell me.
Did you just have a waffle?

Because you smell warm,
like a waffle.

[exhales]

Or maybe you smell this good
all the time!

[giggling]

Now. I wonder
who this package is for.

It's to...

"Bear." That's me!

Well, let's open it.

I can't wait to see
what's inside.

It's the birdhouse I ordered
a couple of weeks ago.

It finally came. See...

these are the pieces,
and these are the directions.

And if l put
the pieces together, like this,

then I'll get a birdhouse
that looks like this.

Directions are words
and pictures

that help you build something.

This'll be great. [giggles]

Okay.

Well, we have a birdhouse
to build. C'mon.

PIP: Well, we could play tag...
POP: I'm tired of tag.

Yeah,
tag's definitely getting old.

-Yeah, you're right.
-It's Pip, Pop, and Tutter!

-Hey, guys!
-Hey, Bear!

What's up?

We were just trying to think
of something to do, Bear.

Yeah.
And we can't think of any...

[screaming]

-Yep, that's a beauty, Bear,

a real beauty of a box!

Yeah, and check out the flaps!

We could make something
great out of that!

Well, sure!

After I unpack everything
I need to build my birdhouse,

the box is all yours.

Yaaaaaaay!

Now, let's see...
we'll have to make a plan first.

-How about a rocket ship?
-What about a fire engine...

I don't know. Maybe we could
build a roller coaster.

Let's leave these guys
to their plans.

We have some birdhouse plans
of our own. C'mon.

What about a podium?
We could give speeches.

Let's keep thinking.

Okay. Here we go.

I've been looking forward

to building this birdhouse
for a long time.

Hey!

Building!

Building.

It's fun to build things.

And you could build
anything like ...

You can build a house!

But, let's see...

what do you need
to build a house?

Well, you need a floor...

And four walls...

And a roof!

Yeah. And you put
things together using tools,

like hammers, and saws,
and nails!

Yeah. It is fun to build things.

But, what do you think?

What kind of things

Sometimes I build cars.

Think we build with
blocks sometimes.

I used to make castles
from sand.

I sometimes make forts.

And I build them with my Dad.

Well, we built a clubhouse.

I'm making a building...
of windy cities.

You sure have some interesting
ideas about things to build!

Well, I'm all ready
to build, too!

See, I've got everything
I need laid out.

Now, let's check
the directions...

and saw to length desired.

Well, guess I'll just go
get my saw...

Bonjour, Bear!

Jacques!

This is Jacques.
He's a beaver friend of mine.

Hello!

So Bear,
what are you doing here, Bear?

Are you building something,
perhaps?

Well, actually,
yes I am, Jacques.

I'm building a birdhouse.

But I was just
about to get a saw.

No, no Bear!
You don't need that saw.

-Really? But?
-No, no, no no, no.

Jacques can do any sawing
you need to do with his teeth.

Yeah! That's right.

Beavers can cut down
a whole tree,

just by using their teeth!

Beavers are great
at building things,

especially things like dams.

Yes, exactly, Bear.

Building is my life.

Now. Let's see
what you have here.

You have quite a problem,
here, Bear.

-Really?
-But of course!

This is all in pieces!

Well ... Jacques...
the reason it's all in pieces

is because it's not
put together yet.

Exactly, mon ami!

Which is why you need a beaver!

And this beaver would be
more than happy to help you

build this birdhouse.

Aw, well, okay, Jacques! Sure.

Great! Okay, now,

let's get started
and check the directions.

-Directions?
-Beavers do not need directions.

-Really? But...

All nice and clear. You see?

Now to get down to business.

Busy as a beaver, as we say.

Okay. Great, Jacques.

Bear. Bear, Bear. Do you have,
by any chance, a measuring tape?

Why, yes I do.

Oh, yes. Jaques!

Well. It's about time, Bear.

The day, she is almost over!

Jacques. It's ok.
I am now ready to start build-

Bear! Beeeeeeear!

I better go see
what that's about.

Hey! Perhaps I'll just
begin building,

Alright! Tres bien, Bear.

Jacques will begin
building without you.

This is going to be the highest
castle that I ever... ...

Oh, oh, oh my...

Oh, I almost had it that time.

Hey, Ojo! What are you doing?

Oh, Hi, Bear! Look!

I'm building a castle
out of blocks!

This is where I live now!

Well, I'm pretty sure
it's going to be

a really nice place to live.

Yeah!

-Except, well...
-What is it Ojo?

It's missing a tower, Bear!

Every castle has a tower!

Didn't you know that?

Well, I guess I didn't.

Yeah...

And it's got to be a really,
really high tower, Bear,

a really high one!

'Cause that's where
I'm going to sleep!

Sounds like a great idea, Ojo.
So, what's the problem?

Well, you see,

every time I try to build
it high enough,

it falls down and all I end up
with a big old pile!

Well, that's okay, Ojo.

Some point at,
everyone has tried to build

a tower, and it, too,

has fallen into
a great big pile.

Even me.

-Really?
-Yup.

-But you want to know a secret?
-Yes.

If you keep trying,
you'll get it!

♪ Look at that spider
there in the corner ♪

♪ Building a web
ten times her size ♪

♪ How does she get it
In her head ♪

♪ That she can build
So big a web? ♪

♪ I guess she really wants
to catch some flies! ♪

♪ And if a spider can build
a great big web ♪

Then a bear can build
a tower that's uhm...

-ten times as high.
-That's right, Ojo.

♪ I'll build it block by block
by block by block by block ♪

♪ By block by block ♪

♪ And pretty soon,
It's gonna reach the sky ♪

Now I'm going to build it
even higher, Bear!

I have to get back to work now.

[giggling]

Well let's go see how Jacques'
doing with my bird...

[shadow laughing]

Did you hear that?

[shadow laughing]

That sounds like Shadow!

Let's go find her. C'mon.

Now I know
she's around here somewhere.

Maybe if we look real hard

and sing a song together,
she'll appear.

Ready?

It's so good to see you.

doing today?

I was just outside

leaping from leaf to leaf
up in the trees!

That sounds like fun!

Well, Shadow, do you have
a story for us today?

I think I can put
something together for you.

Just watch.

♪ The three little pigs,
they flipped their wigs ♪

♪ The wolf was at the door ♪

♪ Earlier that day,
He had blown away ♪

♪ A house of sticks,
And a house of hay ♪

♪ And now he wanted more ♪

Pigs, little pigs,
let me come in.

Now by the hair
on my chinny-chin-chin.

Then I'll huff and I'll puff
and I'll blow your house in.

Puff away, big boy.

♪ The house didn't move ♪

♪ It was made of brick ♪

♪ But the wolf was clever,
he had one more trick ♪

♪ He climbed up to the chimney,
and down he did go ♪

♪ It was a tight squeeze
so he moved kind of slow ♪

♪ The pigs heard him corning,
and prepared a surprise ♪

Fill it up. Get more water!

♪ He fell into the bathtub
and got soap in his eyes ♪

[screaming]

You sure are dirty.

You're covered in soot.

You're going to bathe.
From head to foot.

[screaming]

♪ The wolf was all clean,
neatened by brush and comb ♪

♪ He felt much better ♪

Nevermore will I huff
and puff on any home.

Yeah!

What a great story!

I guess you should build
your house out of bricks

if there's a wolf
in the neighborhood!

That's for sure!

Well, I must be off.

But when you need another story
just try and catch me!

-Bye, Bye, Shadow. Thank you.

Bear! Table for Bear!

Hey! Now what's all this about?

Mr. Bear! Party of one, please!

-What?
-Bear! There you are!

We almost gave your table away!

-My table? But.
-Right this way, sir.

I guess you better take
the big one. The big one, Bear!

[laughing]

What a great idea
for a restaurant!

Yep! Our specialty!

We'd recommend the clams,
Bear… But we ate them all!

sometimes you can build
something great!

TREELO: I'm not ready
to knock it down yet.

my tower, and I'm not ready
to knock it down yet.

Treelo, stop saying I'm no fun.

But Treelo want to
knock tower down! BOOM!

-No fun.

Treelo, it is Ojo's tower

and she did spend
a lot of time building it.

Busy, Luna, really busy.

I got a kit
to build a birdhouse!

A birdhouse!

I've always loved birdhouses.

It's so much fun to watch
the birds build their nests

inside them and come and go.

How did your birdhouse come out?

Well, I had a lot of help
from my friend Jacques.

Jacques.

Those beavers certainly
do love to build things.

You can say that again.

But it wasn't just Jacques
building things.

Pip and Pop and Tutter

built a restaurant
out of a box that served...

Don't tell me… Clams and Cheese?

[laughing]

That's right.

And Ojo built a big tower,

and then she and Treelo knocked
it down and built a new one!

Well, Bear, from up here,
I've seen some amazing buildings

go up all across the world.

The schools, and houses,
skyscrapers even pyramids.

Wow.

You see a lot from up there,
don't you.

Yes, Bear.

It's all part of being the moon.

Hey, Luna, would you sing
