Hi, Blorbians, and hi, earthlings.
It's me, Plum.
Today's Plum post is all about the jungle,
also called the rainforest
because there's lots of rain and lots of trees,
and as you can hear, lots of animals!
Jungles are filled with life
because there's sun and rain and warmth
and everything you need to produce plants,
which animals eat.
Did you know that jungles have more animals
than any other place on earth?
No, you probably didn't know that,
and you probably don't know this:
all those jungle plants
produce nearly half of the world's oxygen.
So not only are jungles filled with life,
they're important to life:
to animals and people who don't even live there.
So the next time you breathe, earthlings
[inhaling deeply]
you might want to say, "Thank you, jungle!"
[coughing]
