Hey, what's with you, Henry?

You got half the couch. What do you want,
the whole thing?

Henry. Hey, what's with the dog?

You know, it could be love.

But, actually,
I think you're sitting on his bone.

[CHUCKLES] Oh. Is that it?

Thought I had a backache
all this time.

Are you guys ready for this?

For what?

We're in the basketball
tournament semifinals.

How come?

I'm mean, we've only won three out
of five games. That was a month ago.

All right. It's complicated. But
here's how it was explained to me.

Now, it's a triple-loss
elimination tournament, right?

Okay, we had a bye, remember?

Now, Battalion 13 lost to us,
but they b*at Station 9,

and 9 had lost to us
and to Battalion 6,

but then Battalion 13
b*at them, 13...

Wait a minute. What happened to 6's,
Cap?

Just a second.

but they had lost to
Headquarters and also to us.

MARCO: Hold it, hold it.

Nobody's gonna understand that but you,
Cap.

Okay, forget it.

Anyway, we have two losses
and Station 16 has two losses,

and that means we play
them Saturday morning.

We're in the semis,
and that means a practice session tomorrow.

Hey, Cap,
are we gonna change the lineup a little?

I mean, I didn't play much
the first five games.

Well, I think we ought to go with the same
lineup that got us to the semifinals, pal.

Yeah, but, Cap, I'm the only
second string on the whole team.

Well,
somebody's got to be in the second string.

Ain't gonna be me.

Why?

Because I'm the coach.

Why?

Why am I the coach?

Because I'm the Captain.

four people trapped inside.

They were working in
the kitchen when she blew.

Gas expl*si*n? Yeah. I
don't know what caused it.

I telephoned the gas company

and told them to
shut off the valve.

Okay, good. Now,
move those people down there.

Now, watch out, I got firefighting
equipment coming in here.

Okay, now, two lines go in the front

Let's get some more water over here,
Kelly.

ROY: I can't see nothing.

JOHNNY: I can't see
nothing, either.

Hey, did you hear something?

[BANGING]

In the refrigerator.

[BANGING CONTINUES]

Hey, you guys,
come and give me a hand here!

Hurry! Hurry! Help him! Hurry!

JOHNNY: Are you okay? Yeah,
I'm fine.

But he's in a bad way.
He's got heart trouble.

Okay, you better
get out. Over here.

Come on,
let's take her out of here.

ROY: Marco, come over here
and take this one.

[COUGHING]

He's got chest pains. He's
diaphoretic. Respirations are labored.

There's no obvious trauma.
Let's get him out of here.

Found some nitro pills
in his hand.

All right.

[MAN GROANING]

[EXPLOSIONS]

[MAN GROANING]

All right, just try to relax.

Come on, now, try to relax.

STANLEY: Easy now, come on.

Okay. Got six liters
of O2, coming up.

Okay, Cap-

My chest...
My chest is k*lling me.

Okay,
come on. Keep your hands off your chest.

Feels like it's being crushed.

[BREATHING HEAVILY] Okay, sir?

Sir,
can we ask you a question? Yeah.

Do you take nitroglycerin pills? Yes,
I do.

These are your pills? Yes, yes.

Okay, now, look. I'm gonna
get on the phone to the hospital.

We're gonna try to do
something about the pain, okay?

Yes. Try to settle down.

Thank you.

Try taking a deep breath,
all right?

Try taking a slow,
deep breath. Just relax. There you go.

Rampart,
this is County 51. How do you read me?

Go ahead, 51.

Rampart, we have a male,
approximately 55 years old.

He's been involved
in a gas expl*si*n.

He's complaining of dire
chest pains. He's diaphoretic.

He is conscious,
and we've got him on six liters of O2.

There is no evidence of trauma.

Rampart, he is on nitroglycerin
pills. Stand by for BP.

Did you say 130 over 90?

Rampart, BP is 130 over 90, pulse is 90,
respiration is 24 and labored.

Pupils are equal and reactive.

Start an IV, D5W TKO
and send me a strip.

10-4, Rampart. I\/, D5W TKO.
This'll be Lead 2.

rate of 90.

Give him 8 milligrams MS IV,
continue to monitor vitals

and transport
as soon as possible.

10-4, Rampart, we concur.

Eight milligrams MSW.
ETA, 10 minutes.

ROY: Okay, ambulance is here. We're
gonna be taking you to the hospital.

Hi, Kel. ROY: How's he doing?

Anterior Ml. He's stable,
he should be fine.

Hey, Kel, don't we have
a basketball team here

that played in that hospital
tournament last weekend?

Yeah, and they're pretty good,
too, from what I hear.

Couple of the interns on it
used to play for UCLA.

I think Mike Morton's on it,
too. Why do you ask?

Well, by some strange fluke,

we've found ourselves in the
Fire Department semifinals.

We're just looking for somebody
good to play with tomorrow.

Well, don't look at me.

Me, neither. Me, neither.

[LAUGHING]

Well, where's Mike?
What about Mike?

Oh, he's in 2, I think.

Okay. Well,
we'll see you later. Thanks.

Catch you later.

Well,
that sounds like fun. Sure does.

Thank you very much,
Doctor. You're welcome.

You come back tomorrow afternoon,
let me change the dressing on that.

JOHNNY: Hey, Doc.

Hey, guys, how you doing? Fine.

Pretty good. Listen. We understand that
you're on the hospital basketball team.

Yep. Why?

Well, we got a team
at the station,

we need somebody
to practice against.

What do you say? Yeah.

We're disbanded.

You're what?

We're disbanded.

Why?

Well, we worked like dogs the
night before and we were eliminated.

Actually, "destroyed" would
be a better way to put it.

We couldn't stand up, man.
We just couldn't stand up.

WOMAN OVER PA: Dr. Morton,
call Extension 34.

See you. Yeah.

Dr. Morton, call Extension 34.

I think we better hope
for a slow night.

Hope? We better pray.

[BOTH SIGHING]

Hey.

On your way to practice? Yeah.

I still don't see how you
guys made it into the semis.

Neither do we.

I understand you're gonna
be playing 16's B-shift.

Yeah, you know
anything about them?

Only that they're fast,
they're big

and they've got an unstoppable
center named Steve Kallmeyer.

Kallmeyer? That's encouraging.

Kallmeyer's the biggest
guy in the department.

Yeah. We gotta go.

Well, good luck.

Thanks, we'll see you. Yeah.

Also,
B-shift gets the day off before the game.

Hey, I know, I know.

CHET: Ooh, nice form.

STANLEY: Hey!

You're gonna sit here
and watch this all day?

Come on, we haven't got the
gym for that long. Let's go. Let's go.

How was that?
It was good. Come on.

Hey, you don't sound
too thrilled about it.

Look, I said it was fine, okay?

You're gonna be a big star, huh?

Hey, Larry, what's wrong?

Look, what do you want from me?

Do you want me to say that
I wish I was as good as you?

Well, fine, okay?
You got it. All right?

But you're great. In your own event,
you're great.

Now, that's what I need. I mean,
that's what I need from you.

God.

[BLOWS WHISTLE]

Okay!

[GROANING]

Good sh**ting. Good sh**ting.

Okay, we got 16's right here,
Saturday morning.

Now, they're gonna zone us
and we'll zone them.

Now, against the zone, the only
thing to do is keep the ball in the air.

Pass, pass, pass, pass. Don't put
it on the floor. Don't dribble it at all.

Okay, same lineup...

Uh, Cap? What, Kelly?

I thought maybe I could,
you know, fill in for you

at center a while,
give you more time to coach.

Kelly, I'm too short to play
center against this guy from 16.

So where does that leave you?

On the bench, huh? On the bench.

Okay, play number one. Let's go.

STANLEY: Okay, let's hear it!

[PLAYERS SHOUTING ENCOURAGEMENT]

[ALL CHATTERING]

[PLAYER WHOOPING]

[INDISTINCT CHATTERING]

Yo! Go.

STANLEY: Let's go!

Offense in the air.

[WHOOPS]

STANLEY: Okay. Okay,
we're gonna play a little game here.

Half court. Kelly!

Well, take it easy on you,
pal. John, take it out of here.

CHET: Here, Johnny!
Here, Johnny! Oh!

CHET: Foul! Cap!

Stoker, you butchered him,
for crying out loud.

Sorry about that.
It's our ball now.

It's our ball, and I was chased.

No!

STANLEY: Kelly, what is that?

What do you think you're doing?

[STAMMERING] I was gonna sh**t.

Kelly, you don't sh**t
from out here.

This is 30 feet away
from the basket.

Why not?

Because it's a lousy percentage
sh*t. It isn't gonna go in.

Well, it's the first time
I got the ball all day.

Why am I breaking my neck
having everybody practice plays?

[CRASHING] Work with
the rest of us. Work it in!

[WOMAN SCREECHES]

Larry! Larry. Larry.

Help. Oh, Larry.

Help. We need some help.

Don't crowd around,
get a doctor! Call somebody! Move!

Larry, are you okay?
Move out, here.

We're Los Angeles
County paramedics.

I'll go call this in. All right.

What happened to him?

He was doing a front vault
with a full twist

and he fell and hit
his head on the floor.

Respiration's 20.

You have a first aid kit here,
do you not?

Yeah, there's one
in the cabinet over there.

Someone... I'll get it.

Okay, 96 on the pulse.

Could you go get those
towels for us over there?

Marco, can you go grab
that board right over there?

We'll try to put him
on that board.

See if it's big enough. If it's not,
grab another one.

ROY: Thank you.

You want to hand me
two of those?

[SIREN APPROACHING]

Okay,
you want to try just rolling two of them up

as tight as possible?

Break some tape off there.

Okay, just tape those up and
break off about four pieces of tape.

Chet, hand me
a piece of tape there.

Marco, can you
help me with this?

Okay.

Just hold on to it,
and I'll tape it across here.

JOHNNY: You want to
slide this through for me?

ROY: Yeah.

Okay.

Okay, go ahead.

Hey, Mac. Looks like you guys
got everything under control.

Yeah. Fell, hit his head.

Pulse is 96,
eyes are equal and reactive.

What's the pulse?
Twenty. Respiration's 20.

Respiration's 20. Okay, thanks.

Well, we better get some
more Kerlix around that. Thanks.

Rampart, this is County 51.

DIXIE: Go ahead, 51.

We have got a male victim
approximately 28 years of age...

STANLEY: Now, we hit the guy in the corner,
who ought to be open.

Everybody got that?

Yeah, "ought to be" open.

Well, presumably,
if he can sh**t a jump sh*t from there.

Now, got a couple more plays we ought
to go over before the game tomorrow.

[TELEPHONE RINGING] I'll get it.

You know, it sure has been a
light shift. I hope it stays that way.

You and me both.

[ALARM SOUNDING]

DISPATCHER:
Station 51, man trapped.

Stage 28,
World Picture Corporation.

Stage 28,
World Picture Corporation.

Time out, 1845.

Station 51, KMG 365.

[SIRENS WAILING]

Charlie, you all right? Yeah,
I think I cracked my wrist.

[SIRENS APPROACHING]
Think I hear the trucks coming.

Browning, go make sure
they get in here.

Hurry UP!

I got a man trapped up there.

He was trying to brace up the old
joists when one of the cleats broke.

Is he hurt?

Yeah, he seems hurt. I think he
broke his shoulder. He's not sure.

Got a man that's hurt up there.

Man that's hurt up there, Cap.

FOREMAN: We've been
trying to get him down.

One of the guys just got hurt.

JOHNNY: All right,
I'll go check it out.

Yeah, extra belts and lifelines.

Stoker, why don't you stay here?

What's the problem?

It's my wrist.
I think I cracked it.

You hurt anyplace else?

No, just my wrist.

Okay, let's take a look at it.

We might splint you up here.

Hurry up. Guys!

This cleat isn't going
to hold much longer!

FOREMAN: Hang on, Pete, the Fire Department's
here. They're gonna get you down.

This stage is over 50 years old.

Some of those high places
up there are hard to fix.

So when the joist broke,
we couldn't get him down.

Cap, this grid here.

I can drop down from that grid
onto this joist right to the left of him.

I'll swing the rope over,
lower him down in the center

and then we can use all of our
men there to carry us both down.

Looks good.

But how do I get
onto this grid here?

There's a stairway over here
that leads to that one up there.

Up that ladder there? Right.

Well, what do you need? Okay.

Well, nothing up there. But down here,
just men to lower us down.

You got it.

Captain,
you can snug a mule... On a mule there.

Okay. Good deal.

STANLEY: Okay, thanks,
guys. We can take it from here.

But we're gonna need something
to brace it off on both sides, I think.

Yeah. Want me
to give you a hand?

Up there? No. I don't think so.

We don't need any more weight
up there than we've got already.

Hurry up, fellows!

This cleat's not gonna
last much longer.

Try to hang on. We got somebody
coming up right now to help you.

Just hang on! Okay.

Okay. Can you
steady this a little bit?

Sure.

Okay.

[BEAM CREAKING]

Hurry UP!

All right, take it easy,
take it easy.

Now, don't move around so much.

Oh, my shoulder.

[GRUNTS]

What do you think is
wrong with your shoulder?

I think I broke it.

[GROANS]

[BEAM CREAKING]

Be careful. This
thing's gonna break.

All right, I'll watch my end.
Just don't move around so much.

Easy. Easy.

[GROANING] Hey,
I can't hold on much longer.

Look, just hold on. We're gonna
get you down, so don't worry about it.

Please hurry.

[GROANING] Oh, my shoulder.

Now, take up on that line,
real tight.

Little tighter.

Okay. That's good.

PETE: Easy.

Easy.

Easy. Easy.
Okay. I'll get you down.

You've got to help me
with this belt now.

What do you want me to do?

Drape it over that side,
over your back.

Ow!

Yeah, it's over.

Okay. Now,
try to lift up a little

and we'll buckle this on.

Easy on that joist.

[BEAM CREAKING] It's cracking.

This should take care
of that wrist, okay?

All right. We're gonna
check out your buddy,

make sure he's all right.

Mike, you want to get
the splint box there?

Okay. All right. Slide off, now.

[SCREAMING]

Okay. It looks fine.
Okay, let us down easy!

Open that for me.

[PETE GROANING]

Watch your hand on this rope.

Okay.

I 901 you.

JOHNNY: Take it easy.

All right. We're almost down.

We've only got
about another 15 feet.

JOHNNY: Okay.

I think he might have
a broken right clavicle.

All right. Okay.

ROY: Watch it. Watch it.
Watch the arm.

Watch the arm. JOHNNY: Okay,
take it easy. All right.

ROY: Okay. Are you all right?

PETE: Yeah. I think so.

Oh, my shoulder.

All right. Take it easy.

[SIREN APPROACHING]

All right,
let me just have a look at it, okay?

[BUZZING]

ROY: Rampart, this is County 51.

Unit calling in, repeat.

Rampart, this is County 51.

We've got a male patient here,
age about 32.

He's suffered a fall. He's got
a broken right clavicle.

Stand by for vital signs.

MORTON: Standing by.

Did you check his pupils? Huh?

Did you check his pupils? No,
I didn't.

All right, 24 and labored.

Let your arm down here.

Equal and reactive.

Okay. 24 and labored.

Rampart, the pupils are
equal and reactive.

The respirations are

JOHNNY: 110.

Pulse is 110.

Roll your sleeve up, get the BP,

then we're gonna get you
to the hospital, okay?

Yeah.

Rampart, we'll proceed
to immobilize the right arm

as soon as we finish on vitals.

your patient as soon as possible.

Hey, guys. How are they doing?

Oh, they'll be all right,
I imagine.

I don't think they'll be up high
for a while, but they'll be okay.

You guys want some coffee? No,
thanks.

We're gonna have to get some
sleep tonight. Tomorrow's the game.

Ah! That's right. I hope
you have a slow night.

Yeah, well, so far...

[RADIO BEEPING]

DISPATCHER ON RADIO:
Squad 51, man down.

220 North Elm Street. Cross street,
Canyon Drive. Time out, 1945.

Squad 51, 10-4.

[sum-nus]

Boy, I'm tired.

Yeah. A warm bed's gonna
feel real good tonight.

Six runs tonight.
That's not possible.

You wanna bet?

I don't know if the rest of
the guys got some sleep.

It's after midnight.
I certainly hope so.

Well, maybe the rest of the
night will be nice and quiet.

CHET: It was till you two clowns
came in and started talking.

Oh, sorry. Sorry.

STANLEY: Don't worry about it. We've only
had the lights out 10 minutes ourselves.

Oh, really? Yeah, Cap,
the way I feel,

I'd settle for five minutes.

[ALARM SOUNDING]

DISPATCHER ON RADIO: Station 51,
Station 8, Engine 38, Battalion 14,

fire at Leo's Rubber Works in the
used tires section. 1011 South 5th Street.

ROY: Looks like the only thing to look forward
to tonight is overhauling burning tires.

Cross street, Ocean.
Time out, 0045.

Well, maybe the other team
will be up all night, too.

You don't really
think that, do you?

Station 51, KMG 365.

A tire fire, huh?

How do you know?

I guessed.

Oh, I feel like a retread.

Say, haven't you guys
got a game later on today?

Yeah, if we can
stay awake for it.

Well,
why don't we all try to clean up.

Then we can maybe catch a few
winks in the dorm before the game.

JOHNNY: Hmm, yeah. Very
little sleep is better than no sleep,

especially when you're
gonna be playing basketball.

[ALARM SOUNDING]

DISPATCHER ON RADIO: Engine 51,
rubbish fire, 124 East Oak Street.

124 East Oak. Cross street,
Alder. Time out, 0915.

[GROGGILY]
That's the fourth call

in less than an hour.

You've been keeping
count, too, huh?

I can't help.

[ALARM SOUNDING]

DISPATCHER ON RADIO: Squad 51,
child trapped in the basement.

1435 Royal Court Drive.

[EQUIPMENT CLATTERING]
1435 Royal Court Drive.

Cross street, Palm.
Time out, 0916.

[ENGINES STARTING]
Uh-huh. That's number five.

Yeah, well,
hopefully they'll be out longer this time.

[SIRENS FADING] That'd
be too good to be true.

[DOOR BANGING OPEN] CHET: Huh?

[CHEERILY] Hi,
how are you doing?

Can I help you?

I'm supposed to fix the sink.

What? Now?

Yeah. Got to be over at 127
later this afternoon.

[GRUMPILY] In there. Oh, thanks.

Have a nice day.

[TOOLS CLANGING]

Aw, nuts! Let's just
go to the gym.

[GROANING]

Well, we'll go ahead
and take my car.

I brought the wagon today.

Come on!

[MEN GRUNTING]

CHET: Come on.

JOHNNY: [MOCKINGLY] "Hey,
Cap! Hey, Cap! Let's take my car!"

STANLEY: Six blocks we've
got to push this bucket of bolts?

Come on, fellows.
How am I supposed to know

the thing was going to have a
little problem? All right, here we go!

Big U-turn, fellows!

JOHNNY: What are
you doing? CHET: Push!

Push, push, push! JOHNNY: That
was a stop sign. You just ran a stop sign.

We wouldn't have made
it here if I had stopped.

STANLEY: Forget the stop sign. Let's
get in here. We're gonna forfeit the game.

CHET: Whoa, whoa, whoa!
STANLEY: Come on. Let's go.

JOHNNY: Hey, Chet. What?

A bird visited your roof
there. STANLEY: Let's go!

CHET: Yeah, well, I guarantee you,
boys, it'll start after the game.

Come on, Marco. Come on!

Cap. We're gonna get k*lled.

John, don't think so negative,
will you?

Don't think at all.

Should have called
for a postponement.

Oh, what,
on the grounds of insanity?

[GROANING] Oh, no!

ROY: That guy is dangerous.

JOHNNY: That guy?

ROY: They're all dangerous.
JOHNNY: They're all dangerous.

Okay, work it around.
Work it around.

[ALL CHATTERING]

He must be 7' tall.

I know.

Cap? What does that make me?

On the bench again.
JOHNNY: Yeah.

Okay. Should we warm up,
you guys? Huh?

You want to warm up? Are
you kidding me? Warm up?

CHET: Good idea, let's warm up.

If we warm up,
we'll never make it past the first quarter.

JOHNNY: You would say that, you didn't
have to push your car down the street.

Forget I said it. Boy, you guys
won't let me forget about that, will you?

[REFEREE BLOWS WHISTLE] We warm up,
we're gonna die.

We're gonna find out.

Yep.

Well, let's go. Let's try
to flick a little bit of life.

JOHNNY: Don't drink
all the water.

How you doing? All right.

[PLAYERS CHATTERING]

[BUZZER DRONING]
All right, here's...

Okay, fellows. Let's go.
Let's have a good clean game.

JOHNNY: Okay, Marco. Let's go.

Okay!

Yeah!

STANLEY: All right,
fellows, defense! Let's go!

JOHNNY: Boys,
this is gonna be a long day.

Oh, come on...

Yeah! Yeah, yeah, yeah!

[BLOWS WHISTLE]
REFEREE: You got him!

[PLAYERS GROANING]
JOHNNY: All right!

One sh*t. One sh*t.

MAN: Michael... Michael?

MARCO: Way to go! Way to go!

MARCO: Johnny!

[WHISTLE BLOWS] REFEREE: Foul!

Two sh*ts. Two sh*ts.

MAN: Come on, Michael,
settle down.

REFEREE: Hold it. One sh*t.
One more sh*t.

Yes!

JOHNNY: Marco!

Time out! Time!

[WHISTLE BLOWS]

What are you doing?

Cap. It's the ball. The ball
is slipping out of our hands.

Ref, this is a bad ball.

Change balls. Change balls.

All right, come here,
everybody. Come on, come on.

If we try to run
with these guys,

they're gonna be running over our dead
bodies in three minutes, the shape we're in.

Since we're the only two substitutes,
we might as well keep each other company.

Yeah, but, you see, babe,
I'm not a substitute. I'm a power reserve

for when the first starting
lineup wears them down.

Yeah, I know. They won't let me play,
either.

[WHISTLE BLOWS]

[WHISTLE BLOWS]
REFEREE: Outside! 51.

STANLEY: Pass it! Pass it!

Yeah! Yeah!

Time out! Time out! Time out!

I called time out!
What's the matter with you?

You can't call time
unless you have the ball.

STANLEY: Bring it in!
Bring it in! Bring it in!

All right. All right. Move it
around. Move it around, guys.

Yeah!

Yeah!

Oh, yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Yeah!

Oh, boy.

Man, if anybody was dumb
enough to bet on this game,

I'd swear you guys
were taking a dive.

Well, hey, pal. We were up all
night working. You know how it is.

Yeah. Fire Department teams have been using
that excuse since basketball was invented.

STANLEY: Time! Time!

[WHISTLE BLOWS]

You okay, Roy?

[GROANING] Oh, my...

It's my leg. It's my
foot. It's my foot.

JOHNNY: All right. Take it easy.

JOHNNY: Which one?
It's the right ankle.

All right. Can you make
it over to the bench?

There you go. I'll be all right.

[CROWD APPLAUDING]

STANLEY: Listen, just go down to the locker
room and put some ice on it, will you?

[GROANING] I'm okay.

No, no, no. It's not worth it.

JOHNNY: Come on,
come on, sit down.

Just go on down to the locker room,
put some ice on it.

Get down there, babe. Put some ice on that,
babe. Good game.

Don't worry about coming back.

Cap? Cap?

Me. Cap? Me?

Yeah, Kelly. You.

The way I figure it, you guys have
been running that ball too much.

We've got to sh**t.

You guys have been running
up and down that court.

When you get a sh*t,
you've got to sh**t it.

sh**t! That's what we got to do.

Oh, shut up.

Guys! Come on!
Look at the score.

Let's go. Come on, guys!

All right. Marco, you've got a bit more
muscle on you. You better play forward.

Kelly, that makes you a guard.

[BLOWS WHISTLE] All right. Take it easy,
will you?

[BUZZER RINGING]

Half-time. Half-time?

Nice game. Already?

How'd these guys get this far?

A fluke. Strictly a fluke.

[BUZZER RINGING]

[BLOWS WHISTLE]

Full court press
with a 20-point lead?

I don't think we'll need to,
Hank.

Chet! sh**t!

Not from there!

STATION 16 PLAYER:
Did you see that lucky sh*t?

[INAUDIBLE]

[INAUDIBLE]

Kelly! Let me have it!

[WHISTLE BLOWS]

PLAYER 1: Come on! PLAYER 2:
We gotta do something about this guy!

[ALL GASPING]
I'm not complaining,

but I thought you didn't
know how to play basketball.

Well, I don't, Cap. I mean,

I feel off-balance all the
time I'm playing out there.

Well, just stay off-balance

and we might be able to make
a decent game out of this thing.

ROY: Yeah, but we got
a long way to go.

Come on, nobody said
it was going to be easy.

Yeah, really.

[WHISTLE BLOWS]

All right, I never thought I'd
be hearing myself saying this,

but let's get the ball to Kelly.

Really. Let's go, boys.

[GROANING]

[INAUDIBLE]

Watch everybody!
Watch them all! Come on!

MARCO: That's it. That's it!

[BUZZER DRONING]

Oh, no!

[JOHNNY WHOOPING]

[ALL CHEERING]

Great game! Great game!

Well, Henry. Looks like you're going
to have to find yourself another lap.

Hey! How are you?

I heard about you
guys' big comeback.

You did all right? Well,
I'll tell you something.

Chet was the one who
really turned things around.

Well, good luck with the finals.

All right. See you later. See you,
Mike.

I'm gonna have some milk.

Boy, you know,

I really misjudged Chefs
basketball-playing ability.

You misjudged him? I'm
the coach! I misjudged him.

Where is he, by the way?

ALL: Hey!

How are you?

JOHNNY: The conquering hero!

Would you like a little milk?

Nice game, babe.

Hey, why the long face?

[GROANS] Guys,
we're gonna get k*lled in that final game.

What are you talking about?

Don't be ridiculous.
With your sh**ting ability?

[SCOFFS]

That's exactly what
I'm talking about.

Watch.

I've lost it. I've lost it all.

I finally figured out
what I was doing

and then I lost. I don't
know how to do it.

Watch.

Oh, man. See what I mean?

Wait a minute. That's
just one time. Try it again.

No, I've lost it.
I've been practicing

with basketballs
and wads of paper.

Come on.
There's the can. Try it.

Try this one.

It's no use, guys. I just don't
have it. Come on. Come on.

You can do it! You can
do it. You did it all day.

CHET: It won't work.

Cap, why don't you
call somebody?

I'll go out and get some
more paper. I'll be right back.

Just... Just keep trying. Here.

Here,
here's a whole bunch of them right here.

Yeah, that's it.
