Hey, Frog, Robot, want to play baseball?

(croaks) You bet I do.

Come on, Robot.

(whirs) Baseball?

I do not know how to play this game baseball.

I will just watch.

Aw, baseball is easy, Robot.

All you do is hit the ball and run around the bases.

Now, don't worry.

I'll teach you everything you need to know.

Oh! (laughs)

(clears throat) Looks like everyone's ready,

so let's play ball.

NARRATOR: It's the blue team's turn to hit the ball,

and the first batter is Sheep.

Oh, actually, it's, uh, uh...

Baseball Sheep.

Okay, pitcher, pitcher, pitcher,

put it right here, right over the plate.

Right down the old pipe.

(takes deep breath, then blows)

NARRATOR: Wow! A homerun for Sheep.

I'm bad, you know it.

And, well, by bad, of course, I mean, good.

(all cheering)

Round the bases! Go on! Circle them up!

Great. I cheer for you

as well, Sheep. Hooray!

That's one on the board for us.

Blue team, good one! Yeah! Ooh, yeah!

Okay, Robot, you're up.

Up? Up where?

Up there. You're up at bat.

That means it's your turn to hit the ball.

But hitting is not nice.

It's okay, Robot.

Hitting the ball is how you play the game. Look.

Just swing the bat at the ball.

And after you hit it, run as fast as you can.

Simple, huh?

I will try to hit the ball, Frog.

All right, pitcher, come on.

Right down the old pipe. Right down the old pipe.

Bring it to me.

(inhales, then blows)

I have hit the ball.

Run!

Run! Go! Come on! Run, run, run!

Wrong way! Wrong way!

To first base!

That way! That way! Go, go, go!

Did I score a point?

You're out.

That means it's not your turn anymore.

Oh...

That's okay, Robot.

Next time you hit the ball,

just make sure you run around the bases, hmm?

NARRATOR: Up next for the blue team, Pig.

Okay, pitcher. Come on, Pitcher. Let's see.

(Pig grunts)

NARRATOR: Wow! A homerun!

Wow, Pig is really good at baseball.

Whoo-whee! Way to go! A homerun!

Yes, Pig, go!

I wish I were as good as he is.

NARRATOR: Keep trying, Robot.

You just need a little more practice.

So the WordFriends kept on playing,

and soon the score was tied, to .

(gasps) Here comes the ball.

Ooh! Slide, Robot, slide!

But I did just as pig asked.

That wasn't really the kind of slide I was talking about.

Watch me, Robot.

Whoo!

See? Slide. Hmm?

Aw, you know everything about baseball, Pig.

I wish I was good at baseball like you.

Oh, when I first started to play baseball,

I wasn't very good, yeah.

But I played every day and I got better and better.

And if you keep trying, you'll get better, too.

(whirring, clicking)

NARRATOR: And Robot didn't give up.

Robot kept trying.

that it's broken apart into letters!

Robot, look up!

Ah! (whirs)

ALL: Ball.

That was our last ball.

Now it's just letters.

I have an idea.

I caught the two letter Ls.

That means we have all the letters we need to...

NARRATOR: Now the score was tied five to five.

So the Blue team needed one more run to win.

Keep your eye... (excited shouting)

(inhales, then blows)

ANTS: Get the ball!

(grunting)

(gasps) Here comes the ball.

You won the game for our team.

You got so fast. Wow.

over by Elephant.

Adventure Sheep will get that letter "M"!

All I need is... a vine.

Sheep, why don't we just ask Elephant?

Because I'm pretending to be Adventure Sheep.
