Today all the magic words start with the "guh" sound

and this letter.

The letter G.

So we made a game.

It's a goofy game.

Uh-huh.

Your turn, buddy.

Okay.

You landed on "shake hands with a goblin."

Yeah!

Hmm, goblin.

Hey, that starts with a "guh" sound.

Maybe I can make a goblin appear.

Goblin.

What is going on?

How did Bobgoblin get here?

We're playing a goofy game,

and Norville had to shake hands with a goblin.

I hope you don't mind.

Oh, Bobgoblin is happy to help.

Hello, Bobgoblin.

Bobgoblin's pleasure.

[laughter]

Stan, what's going on?

These noisy weeds have taken over my swamp.

Noisy weeds?

[trumpets]

That's weird.

It's really weird.

It makes no sense.

It's preposterous.

[weeds trumpeting]

[grumbles]

[weeds trumpet]

[gasps]

Oh, no, those are honk weeds, Stan,

the noisiest plants in the world.

Tell me about it.

I want these weeds gone.

Wait. Gone.

All the magic words today start with the sound "guh"

and the letter G.

Gone.

Yeah, it does.

It's a magic word.

Don't worry, Stan.

These weeds are gonna be gone!

[gasps]

It worked.

They're gone!

Honk weeds are really, really, really hard to get rid of.

But they're ruining my swamp,

and I love my swamp.

See? It's my Home Swamp Home.

I made this myself.

[gasps] Wait!

I just remembered a way to get rid of honk weeds forever.

All you need is a humbug.

What's a humbug.

It's a special bug that lives in Spritely Grove.

Only the humming of a humbug

can make honk weeds go away

and never come back.

Then what are we waiting for?

Let's go find it

and get rid of these noisy weeds.

[honk weeds trumpet]

Huh? Huh.

Ha ha!

Wow, good job, Norville.

Ooh, maybe you can stay here

and try to stop more honk weeds from popping up.

[barks]

and find the humbug.

[gasps] That's the humbug.

Humbug, I need your help!

Stan, look out!

You're about to run into those paint plants.

They turn you different...

I'm a swamp monster,

I've got to get away from these plants.

[Wally] There's the humbug.

He's going into Spritely Swamp.

That's just what I need,

a nice, muddy, dark swamp.

Oh, this isn't a swamp.

It's bright and colorful,

and there's no mud, and...

[sniffs]

[gasps] It smells like flowers.

In Spritely Grove, swamps don't get you dirty.

They get you clean.

They're full of bubble bath.

Ew. A clean swamp?

That's preposterous.

Look over there. It's the humbug.

[humming]

We have to cross Spritely Swamp.

But don't worry, it's easy.

You just walk across it on the silly pads.

The say what nows?

Silly pads.

They're like lily pads,

but they only let you walk on them if you're acting silly.

Please tell me you're kidding.

Nope. Watch.

Quack, quack, quack. Whoo!

[babbling]

No, not doing that.

Being silly is just silly.

I'll just walk across normally.

I'm sure I'll be fine.

[screams]

[sniffs]

Swamp monsters need to smell bad

and be covered in gunk and goo.

I hope they're not giving Norville too much trouble.

He won't come out.

But I need him to get rid of the honk weeds.

There's an easy way to make friends with a humbug.

So all you have to do is sing Humphrey a happy song.

Stan, wait.

Maybe I can use the stick to make some music for you

to help you sing.
