[snoring]

[yawns]

[gasps] It'’s Wednesday!

Pancake day!

Zadie, it's pancake day! [snoring]

Zeke... pancakes.

Hey, Malik.

Good morning, Snout.

M-Malik?

Snout's not in bed.

Uh, check the toy box.

♪ It's Wednesday ♪

♪ My favorite day ♪ Where'd you go Snout?

[toys clattering]

'Cause Wednesday...

is pancake day! [snoring]

ZEKE:Malik?

[crying]: I... lost...

Snout!

What in the world?

[wailing]

[glass squeaking]

Zeke, honey, you okay?

No. He's not okay!

He lost Snout. Actually,

we don't know that he's lost.

He may be-- Malik.

Snout is Zeke's favorite best stuffy

in all the world! I know that.

But he may just be misplaced.

Hmm, he may-- We need a search party!

Can we get a helicopter?

A boat?[gasps]

Motorcycles!

Can I ride the motorcycle?

Before we go that far,

why don'’t you tell us what happened?

Uh... well, I was having a dream

about meatballs...

oh, and this goat called Mr. Goat

came over and...

Why don'’t we skip to the part about Snout?

So then Malik woke me up

and Snout was gone.

I see.

How can we work this out?

Well...

Snout likes pancakes,

so if we make some,

maybe he'’llsmell them and get un-lost!

Now you'’re talking.

Pancakes!

Snout can'’t smell.

He'’s a stuffy.

I'’m telling you, motorcycles.

MALIK: Or...

we skip the motorcycles

and just search the house.

I like it.

Where do we start?

We always get ready for bed

the same way, right? Uh-huh.

Yeppers. Go on.

If we do all the steps in our bedtime routine...

Uh-huh. Go on...

We should definitely find Snout.

♪ Gonna find Snout, gonna find Snout ♪

♪ Snout, Snout, gonna find Snout ♪

[all cheer]

Now, think back.

Last night.

Where do you remember

seeing the little guy?

Hmm...

The day was done.

No more exploring.

So they said nighty-night to the day

and now all you could hear was snoring.

They had chased the snooze-blues...

ALL: Away!

Story time!

Yes!

Woo-hoo!

That'’s where we saw Snout.

Step one in our bedtime routine,

a story on the couch. ZADIE: Wombats!

Start your engines!

KIDS: Vroom, vroom!

Ready, and go!

ALL: Vroom, vroom! Don't forget,

there are five steps to get ready for bed.

Make sure you do them all!

ALL: Vroom, vroom, vroom!

[laughing]

Oh, here'’s the book we read.

Step one, bedtime story.

The day was done, no more exploring,

etcetera, etcetera...

You had Snout last.

Uh, did you drop him somewhere?

Maybe...

Let's keep looking.

♪ ♪

ALL: No.

So... what did we doafter the story?

What did we do next?

Pajamas!

Step two, we put on our PJs!

♪ ♪

[groans]

Where are our PJs?

This is ridiculous.

First we lose Snout, and now we lose our pajamas?

Look! [giggles]

[laughing] We're wearing them.

[laughter]

Okay, bedtime story was step one.

Pajamas was step two.

Still no Snout.

Time for step three.

What did we do after pajamas?

ALL: Hmm...

Rub-a-dub-dub...

Three wombats in a tub!

[giggling]

Step three, took a bath.

[water rushing]

[faucet squeaks]

There ya go, squishies. [giggles]

Woo-hoo!

Last one in is a rotten egg!

BOTH: Wait!

[giggles]

You can't take a bath in pajamas!

You're right. [groans]

We got the steps mixed up.

First we took a bath,

and then we put on PJs.

[bubbles popping]

So many bubbles.

Most bubbles ever!

[bubbles popping]

Are you making a castle?

I am-- you can make the moat.

I'll make the towers.

Know what I wish?

I wish Snout was here. [sniffs]

He loves bubbles.

[gasps] We forgot about Snout!

Time to search the tub!

Thanks, Grandma!

Any sign of Snout?

Nope. [giggles]

But I found a duck. [duck squeaks]

And... a ski boot.

So that's where I left it.

ZEKE:I found a bubble shaped like Snout.

[bubble pops]

[groans] We'll find your stuffy!

Don't you worry.

We need to check our steps.

What happens after story, bath, and pajamas?

The next step was...

Oh, it's on the tip of my tongue.

I don't see it.

It'’s what we do

at the end of the day, right before bed.

[bubbles popping]

The goodnight song?

That's it!

We sing to the Treeborhood!

Oh, yeah!

Step four,

we walk through the Treeborhood and sing it to sleep.

♪ ♪

I don't see Snout.

We went to lots of houses when we sang last night.

We have to check them all.

Mm-hmm.

♪ The day is over ♪

♪ Night is on its way ♪

ALL: ♪ High in the sky the moon looks down ♪

♪ On our sleepy Treeborhood town ♪

♪ So, goodnight moon ♪

♪ Sleep tight, stars ♪

♪ Sweet dreams to Venus ♪

♪Buenas noches to Mars ♪

We'’re missing a stuffy.

Call us right away if you see him.

♪ ♪

ALL: ♪ High in the sky the moon looks down ♪

♪ On our sleepy Treeborhood town ♪

♪ So, goodnight moon, sleep tight, stars ♪

♪ Sweet dreams to Venus ♪

♪Buenas noches to Mars ♪

Should we tell them it's daytime?

We should tell them.

Definitely tell them.

ALL: ♪ So good night dear Treeborhood ♪

♪ Good night ♪

We're done singing,

and we didn't find Snout!

I don't get it.

We did all the steps.

Story, bath, pajamas,

goodnight song.

Wait, there's one more.

Step five, the get-into-bed step.

But I checked my bed already. [sniffling]

Snout's not there.

Doesn't matter, we have to do

all the steps if we want to find him.

How am I supposed to sleep without Snout?

[sniffling]

He tells me jokes when I get scared,

and when it gets too dark, he turns on the...

light... oh.

Oh!

♪ ♪

[gasps]

Snout!

[gasps]

BOTH: You found him!

What happened, what happened?

Silly Snout

didn't tell us he was in the closet.

Oh, jumpin' Jupiter, how'd he end up there?

You know how Zeke turns on

the closet light when it gets too dark?

He must've done that last night and dropped Snout.

That's step six.

That was our final, final step.

Six, turning on the light.

Yay, us!

Oh, I forgot about that step!

You little squishies worked it out!

I'’d say this calls for...

celebration pancakes!

[gasps] We still get pancake day?

All right!

Could we have them in bed?[yawns]

I'msotired!

We've been running around forever.

Yes and... yes.

Back in a sec.

[clattering]

One pancakes-in-bed breakfast-to-go--

Aww...

[snoring]

Pan--

[whispers]: Cakes.

[snoring]

Mm...

[forks clink] Delicious.

Mm... [snoring]

♪ If you drop this ball, then it bounces ♪

♪ If the ball hits this toy, then it breaks ♪

♪ And did you know if you stub your toe ♪

♪ Then it hurts, for goodness sakes ♪

♪ If you turn the hose on, then water starts to flow ♪

Patterns are neat, tidy, and organized.

Just like my Everything Emporium.

I'’d appreciate it if you and your friends

kept your wings and paws and claws

off my shell garden!

[laughter]

[claws clicking]

[sneezes]

[all yelp]

I gotta watch out for sneezy flowers.

[sighs]

You can come out Zadie,

[sighs]

Hi, guys.

ALL: JunJun!

Wanna play hide-and-seek with us?

Sure, but later.

I still gotta make up my song of the day.

Zadie-- sing about Zadie!

I won five times, you know.

I'm not gonna win if JunJun keeps singing.

♪ Big ol'’ pile of colorful shells? ♪

Is that you, Zadie? Shh!

[squeaking]

Nope, not there.

JUNJUN: ♪ Zadie's hiding skills ♪ Shh!

JUNJUN: ♪ Sure are swell ♪

♪ Just like Mr. E's patterned shells ♪

I know where Zadie'’s hiding--

in Mr. E'’s shell garden!

Come on!

JunJun, your song keeps giving me away.

MALIK:Zadie,

Gotta hide-- but where? [shells clattering]

MALIK: Zadie, we know you're there!

Found you, Zadie!

[all cheer] [groans]

The lights are on!

That means it'’s time for us to go home.

[scuttling]

They never would'’ve found me if you would'’ve

just stopped singing for one second!

Oh... but you wanted me

to sing about you, so I did.

But, okay.

[shouting]: I'll never sing for you

ever again!

Snout said you were mean, Zadie.

I didn'’t mean to be mean.

At first I liked his songs, but...

but then he kept giving away my hiding spots,

and that'’s why I got so mad and...

Zadie, we gotta get home.

You can find a way to make JunJun feel better tomorrow.

Come on! [shells clattering]

[sighs]

[gasps] Oh, no!

I wrecked Mr. E'’s shell garden!

He'’s gonna be so mad.

Or sad-- or mad-sad!

[groans] I'’ve gotta fix it.

ZEKE: Zadie!

Where'd you go?

Okay, okay, I can still fix it before Mr. E. wakes up.

I just need to get up super early.

[snoring]

Wow, Zadie, up already?

No time to talk, lots to do.

Gotta go, bye Grandma!

[yawns]

Okay, first I'’ve gotta fix the garden,

then I'’m gonna fix things with JunJun.

It's not that bad...

I just need to fill in the missing shells.

I'’ll put a red one here,

and a yellow one here...

Ooh, this orange one is really nice.

Green is pretty.

Huh?

Why doesn'’t it look like the same as last night?

Oh, yeah!

it'’s only supposed to have blue and yellow.

Hmm...

Hmm... I think the shells were in a special order.

Like that song JunJun was singing.

How does it go again?

[knocking]

ZADIE:Sorry...

[door creaks]

JunJun...[sighs]

I shouldn'’t have gotten mad at you.

I really wanted to win.

and you said I could sing about you.

But I didn'’t mean to give away your hiding spots.

I like when you sing your songs.

Just not when I'’m trying to hide.

I guess I should'’ve told you that

instead of getting mad.

if you don'’t mind singing something for me.
