(croaks)

(whimpers)

(giggles)

NARRATOR:
Early one sunny morning
in Word World,

Frog was working on
his latest project.

(croaks)
Hmm...

In theory, my idea should work.

(Frog calling out letters)

KIDS:
Rocket!

FROG:
Yeah, Rocket.

So, I have all the letters
to build it except for a "T."

Where did I put that
uppercase "T" anyway?

(knocking)

Yes, come in.

Hi, Frog.

I was wondering
if you could...

I'm sorry, Pig,
but do you see

an uppercase "T"
lying around anywhere?

Um... no.

But I can help you
look for it.

ALL:
We can help, too.

(laughter)

Oh, you mean this?

Oh, no, Pig,

that's a lowercase "T."

I'm looking for
an uppercase "T."

I'm building a rocket,
after all.

What on earth are all these
little piggies doing here?

(giggling)

Well, Frog,

these are
my nephews.

Say hello to Mr. Frog.

ALL:
Hello, Mr. Frog.

Frog, I was
wondering, um...

if you could...

watch them for me
just for a little while.

I have to go
to the market,

and, um... (chuckles)

I'm not sure
that I can handle

all three of them
in the market at once.

PIGGIES:

Well, okay.

How much trouble could
three little piggies be?

Just as long as they don't mind
me working on my latest project.

ALL:

(laughing
and snorting)

All right then,
my little pigs.

Why don't you just
run along and play

while I build my
uppercase rocket.

Aw, how cute.

NARRATOR:
While Frog searched for
his uppercase letter "T"

to finish his rocket,
the little pigs decided

to check out all the other
cool stuff Frog had in his log.

(laughing)

Am I huge? Am I huge?

Check this out.

Oh, cool.

(buzzing)

ALL:
Fly!

Fly!
Fly!
Fly!

Whoa!

Wow!
Wow-wee!

Let's catch it.

ALL:
Whee!

Cannonball.

(piggies laughing)

Let's get it.

(croaks)

Aha! Here it is!

Cool!

Uh, pigs?

Are you staying
out of trouble?

Yes, Uncle Froggy.

Hmm, maybe it's not very safe

for you three lowercase piggies
to be playing here

while I build my rocket.

Why don't you take
this basket

of lowercase letters
outside and play with them.

And stay out of trouble.

ALL:
Yes, Uncle Froggy.

NARRATOR:
But little did Frog know

that those three little piggies
really would have a blast

with those lowercase letters.

You see, while Frog struggled
to build his rocket,

the three little pigs
were building one of their own.

Well, if we can build
a fly that flies...

I'll bet we can build
a rocket, too.

With lowercase letters.

Okay, so, um... how do
you spell "rocket" again?

ALL:
Rocket!

Ready for blastoff?

Aye, aye, Captain.
Aye, aye, Captain.

Here we go.

Blastoff!

No!

Bye, Uncle Froggy.

We're in outer space.
Here we go.

We're on our way. Whee!

And I promised Pig I wouldn't
let them get into any trouble.

Oh, where in Word World
are they going?

Oh!

NARRATOR:
Actually, they weren't going
anywhere in Word World.

No, they were headed somewhere
far out of this world.

ALL:
Comet!

Cool!

FROG:
Oh, no,

no, no, the moon?!

(laughing)

Wow.

We're on the moon!

(gasps)

This is terrible.

Those tiny helpless piggies

are all alone on the moon,

and I'm supposed
to be watching them.

Okay, okay.

Hold it together, Frog.

I'm a big, responsible
kind of frog.

I can totally handle this.

I'll just finish up
my rocket

and go up there after them.

Let's see now...
how did I spell that?

KIDS:
Rocket!

Yes, rocket!

I just hope I'm not too late.

NARRATOR:
So Frog set off to rescue

the three lowercase piggies.

But because he had
to work so fast,

some of the letters in "rocket"

weren't put together quite as
well as they could have been.

And Frog's rocket
started having problems.

(alarm rings)

Oh, I think something's wrong!

(groans)

(sputtering)

Luckily, Frog had remembered
his parachute.

Oh, no!

My letters!

My rocket!

(gasps):
I found you!

I did it,
but I can't believe it.

(giggling)

Oh, how are we ever
going to get back home?

Hey, we could always
put our rocket

back together again,
Uncle Froggy.

Yes, we still have
our lowercase letters.

Well, I guess a word is a word,

no matter whether the letters
are uppercase or lowercase.

So get your lowercase letters
together, piggies,

because it's time to...

Build a word!

(dance music plays)

♪ It's time to build a word

♪ Let's build it,
let's build it now ♪

ALL:
Rocket!

♪ Yeah, we just built a word

♪ We built it, we built it!

Great!

Now we can use
the lowercase rocket

to get you home
to Uncle Pig.

Yay!
Yay!
Yay!

NARRATOR:
They all got aboard
the lowercase rocket

the piggies had made.

As they all zoomed back
to Word World,

Frog realized that all letters,

whether uppercase or lowercase,

are needed to make
Word World go around.

(piggies giggling, snorting)

(barks, pants)

(music playing)

(tapping paws to music)

(music stops, Dog barks)

KIDS:
Horn!

(tapping paws
to music)

(barks)

KIDS:
Guitar!

(tapping paws
to music)

We begin our story
with a bird's-eye view

of Word World.

Sheep, Bear, and Frog had
their own bird's-eye view.

Bird-watching was
a great idea, Sheep.

And fun.

Now we just need
a bird to watch.

Oh! Look!

Letters!

Bird!

Bird-watch!

ALL:
Ooh...

Ah...!

(groans)

Be right back, little egg.

There she is.

(croaks) We're right
behind you, Bear.

Wow.

What is it, Bear?

Did you find bird?

even better.

It's an egg.

Ooh.
Ooh.

But if you don't
mind my saying,

what is inside the shell

is even more important.

BOTH:

Baby birds come out of,
uh, well... eggs.

I'm fairly sure at least.

Oh. But, um...

how does it get out?

(laughing):
Well, you know,

oddly enough, I'm not
so sure about that part.

Well, if there's
a baby bird inside,

then this egg
must belong to...

Oh, oh, dear.
Oh, this is very bad.

She must have lost it,
don't you think?

Yes, and one of us should
definitely take care of it

until Bird gets back.

It should be someone
who's very careful.

Uh, yes...

um, someone
who could keep it warm.

(croaking)

Someone's who's already
practically a wool blanket.

Who? Me?

(gulps)

Oh, dear.

NARRATOR:
And so, Sheep was elected
protector of the egg...

at least until Bird came back.

Ooh!

Stay.

Now stay right there.

Stay... Don't move...
Uh, uh, uh.

Good egg!

Ahh!

Egg!

You are not so very good
at sitting still, are ya?

Are you ready, Frog?

Uh-oh.

Look out, Sheep!

(grunts)

Nice sh*t, Sheep!

You saved the egg
and you scored a basket!

You did save
the egg, right?

Yes... yes,

The egg seems fine.

But I'm just so nervous.

The egg just will not
stay in one place.

It refuses to
stay in...
Uh...

It likes to
roll, you see.

(panting)

NARRATOR:
So, off rolled the egg,
headed toward the pond.

DUCK (operatic):
♪ Oh, solo

♪ Ducky...

♪ Feathers and all.

SHEEP:
Duck.
Huh.

Duck. The egg.

Hey, nice catch, Duck.

What can I say?

I'm a duck.

I'm an egg-spert,
if you will.

(giggles and quacks)

Oh.

Maybe you can
help us figure out

what to do
with the egg.

Well, all I know is,

eggs belong in nests, you see.

You know, now that is
a very good idea, Duck.

We're gonna build
a nest for the egg.

Uh... How, how
do we start?

Allow me.

It's quite simple,
really...

We'll need an N

for the "n" sound.

Then we need an E-S-T,
"est" for the rest.

KIDS:
Nest.

That's right.

Nest.

Okay, little
buddy there.

Now, let's see
how you like

your new nest.

It's staying.

(giggles)

NARRATOR:
So Sheep tucked the egg safely
in its nest

and carried it back
to her haystack

for a good night's sleep.

(snoring)

(baaing)

Ooh, brr.

You know, it is a bit chilly
in here.

I'm gonna... you know, I bet you
could use a little blanket, Egg.

There you go.

Sleep well.

(rooster crowing)

(Sheep yawning)

Ahh...

(clears throat)

Good morning, Egg.

I was wondering
if you might want a...

Oh, no.

Duck!

Good morning, Sheep.

How's things...

I need egg-spert help.

There's something
wrong with the egg.

(croaks)

There's a cr*ck
in its shell.

BEAR/SHEEP/FROG:

(chuckles and quacks)

It's just about to hatch,
that's all.

(quacks)

(sniffing)

BEAR:

ALL:

(chirping)

KIDS:
Bird.

♪ Yeah, we just built a word

(chirping)

(gasps)

Yes. It is.

It's a baby bird.

(chirping)

NARRATOR:
Just then, Bird was
flying overhead,

and she heard a familiar sound.

(baby bird chirping)

(gasps)
Mama.

Hello, my
little one.

(cooing)

Oh, you found my baby.

And you've taken such
good care of him, too.

Thank you.

Thank you all ever so.

(cooing)

(chuckling):
Aw, well, shucks.

Oh, that's all right.

It was our
pleasure, Bird.

Actually, it was
mostly Sheep.

(cooing)

(chirping)

Oh, well...

it was, uh...

I enjoyed it.
Really, I...

What I mean to say is...

Good-bye, baby bird.

(chirping)

Baby bird and mama bird
are back together.

As they watched bird
and her baby fly off,

the best bird-watching day yet.
