We're on our way

to help a friend and save the day.

We're not too big, and we're not too tough,

but when we work together, we've got the right stuff!

Gooooo, Wonder Pets!

[bell ringing]

[Linny] Bye, everybody.

[child] Bye, Linny. Bye, Tuck.

[child] I shared my doll today, Mom.

[woman] You did? That's great.

[child] Bye, Ming-Ming. See you tomorrow.

[door closes]

[ringing]

[lively classical music]

♪ The phone.

♪ The phone is ringing.

♪ We'll be wight there.

♪ There's an animal in trouble. ♪

♪ There's an animal in twouble. ♪

♪ There's an animal in trouble somewhere. ♪

[grunts]

[Linny] Listen.

♪ It's a brother and sister sea lion ♪

♪ on some rocks by the sea. ♪

So?

That's where they're supposed to be, wight?

♪ Yes, but they both want to eat the same fish treat. ♪

And they're about to fall in the water.

Look.

[sea lions barking]

[Tuck] But can't baby sea lions swim?

[Ming-Ming] One would think so.

They're good swimmers, but on windy days,

they can get pulled out to sea.

Pulled out to sea?

♪ Two baby sea lions out on the rocks. ♪

♪ This is se-wious.

♪ We have to help them. ♪

♪ Let's save the sea lions.

[all] ♪ Let's save the sea lions.

♪ Let's save the sea lions.

[laughter]

♪ Linny.

♪ Tuck.

Uh, Ming-Ming?

I can't find my cape.

Oh.

You can share mine.

Wait, I see it.



♪ And Ming-Ming too.

[all] ♪ We're Wonder Pets, and we'll help you. ♪

[all grunting]

Hang on, Tuck.

Let's do that together.

♪ What's gonna work?

[together] ♪ Teamwork.

[Linny] ♪ What's gonna work?

[all] Ooh!

Cool!

Let's go, Wonder Pets!

We've got two baby sea lions to save.

Tuck, I was going to sit in fwont.

But I'm already sitting in front, Ming-Ming.

I'm seeing that, Tuck.

Tuck, Ming-Ming, maybe there's a way

for both of you to sit in front.

Hey, we could share the front seat.

Oh, yeah, sharing.

Gweat.

Glad to see you two worked it out.

[both] We are coming to save you,

brother and sister sea lions!

[all] Whee!

[together] ♪ Wonder Pets, Wonder Pets.

♪ We're on our way

♪ to help the baby sea lions and save the day. ♪

♪ And we're not too tough.

Linny, where are we?

Alaska.

It sure is cold.

Yes, vewy bwisk.

Look, a gwizzly bear.

And her cubs.

And down there a timber wolf and a wolf pup.

Hey, wolves!

[howling]

[all howling]

It sure is windy.

My feathers are a mess.

♪ Look, it's the brother

♪ and sister sea lion.

♪ And they're on some rocks by the sea. ♪

Good eye, Tuck.

I see them too.

Hold the sail steady, Wonder Pets.

We're going to land.

[all] Whee!

Whoa!

We better hurry, Wonder Pets.

Those two sea lions could fall in the water

any minute.

♪ And it's a windy day.

♪ So they could get lost at sea. ♪

♪ And that wouldn't be...

[together] ♪ A good idea.

If the sea lions fell in,

couldn't they just swim back, Linny?

It's too windy for anybody to be in the water today, Tuck.

We've got to get them away from the edge, Wonder Pets.

But how, Linny?

They seem awfully busy with that fish treat.

I'll just walk out there and tell them to come back.

Ming-Ming!

Uh-oh.

It's slippery.

♪ I am slipping.

♪ Slipping, slipping, slipping. ♪

♪ I fell down.

Are you okay, Ming-Ming?

Yes, but it's a good thing

I have feathers on my bottom.

[Tuck] Linny, the sea lions

are getting closer to the edge.

They must really want that fish tweat.

Who wouldn't?

We have to think of a way

to get those sea lions to come back,

Wonder Pets.

We could ask them nicely.

It's worth a try.

[clears throat]

[clears throat]

[clears throat]

[together] ♪ Baby sea lions, please come back. ♪

♪ Please come back. Please come back. ♪

♪ Please.

♪ It's for your own good!

[applause]

Oh, thank you.

You are too kind.

[Tuck] ♪ Uh, oh.

[Ming-Ming] ♪ It didn't work.

[Linny] ♪ They went right back

♪ to pulling on their fish treat. ♪

Hang on, Wonder Pets!

Ooh, we are wet.

One, two, three.

[together] Shake!

The waves are getting bigger, Wonder Pets.

What should we do?

♪ We must think of something quickly. ♪

♪ We must think of something now. ♪

♪ Or the sea lions will fall in the water! ♪

[together] ♪ Which they may do anyhow.

If they just knew how to share.

Sharing-- great idea, Ming-Ming.

Weally?

Yes, we can teach them how to share their fish treat.

But what can we use to show them how to share?

Well, I know we're not supposed to eat our celery

until the job is done,

but today we're going to make an exception.

Wow, this must be important.

Let's show them what sharing's all about,

Wonder Pets.

Hey, sea lions, watch.

Mmm, mmm, celery.

My favorite.

Tuck?

♪ Sure, I'll have some celery.

Ming-Ming?

♪ No, thank you.

[both whispering] Ming-Ming.

Oh, yeah.

♪ I would like some celewy too. ♪

Three Wonder Pets.

One celery stalk.

What will we do?

We could share it.

Share it, of course!

[together] ♪ When we share,

♪ we take our celery and break it into bits. ♪

♪ Then we give a piece to everyone. ♪

[Linny] ♪ Like this.

[together] Mmm!

[Linny] I think they understand.

It worked.

They're sharing.

[Linny] Now come away

from the edge.

It's dangerous to be by the water today.

♪ Linny, a wave.

Be careful, sea lions!

[barking]

They're sliding into the ocean, Linny.

I can't reach her!

♪ This is se-wious.

♪ Linny, what do we do?

I know; we'll work together

and try to reach the baby sea lions.

♪ Linny.

♪ Tuck.

♪ And Ming-Ming too.

[together] ♪ We're Wonder Pets, and we'll help you. ♪

♪ What's going to work?

[together] ♪ Teamwork.

♪ What's going to work? ♪

[together] ♪ Teamwork.

arf, arf!

Hang on tight, Ming-Ming.

I have a gwip of steel.

Pull, Wonder Pets.

[all grunting]

We did it!

[Tuck] I need a hug.

[barking]

for saving our pups.

You're welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Sea Lion.

It's what we do.

This calls for some celery.

But I thought we ate our celery.

I brought an extra.

That Linny, always thinking.

Well, Wonder Pets, our work here is done.

[together] Bye, sea lions!

[sea lions barking]

♪ A baby kangaroo who can't find his mother. ♪

♪ This is se-wious.

♪ We have to help him. ♪

♪ Let's save the kangaroo.

Ooh, what a beautiful day.

[laughter]

♪ Tuck.

♪ And Ming-Ming too.

We can't; we're missing a wheel.

[Tuck] The wheel?

I have been looking for that everywhere.

Ming-Ming.

I think my gweat-gwandfather was an eagle.

[chugging]

[together] Ooh!

Hop in the Flyboat, Wonder Pets.

We've got a baby kangaroo to save.

[dramatic music]

We are coming to save you, baby kangawoo.

[all] Whee!

[all cheering]

Austwalia?

Uh-huh, Australia is where kangaroos live.

Ooh, what's that white thing?

That's the Sydney Opera House.

People sing opera there. Listen.

[man and woman singing arpeggio] ♪ Mi mi mi mi mi mi mi.

[all] ♪ Mi mi mi mi mi mi mi.

[laughter]

Where are we now, Linny?

We're still in Australia,

but now we're over the desert, in the Outback.

[kangaroo] ♪ Mama, mama.

[Ming-Ming] Linny, there he is,

the baby kangawoo.

[Tuck] He's all alone.

Poor little fella.

[Linny] Hang on, Wonder Pets.

♪ Mama, mama.

Don't worry, little joey.

[Wonder Pets] ♪ We're here to help you find your mother. ♪

How do you know his name is Joey?

His name isn't Joey;

a young kangaroo is called a joey.

Just like a young duck is called a duckling.

Oh!

Linny is so smart.

♪ Now, where's that mama kangaroo? ♪

♪ She must miss her baby too. ♪

[Wonder Pets] ♪ We've got to help him find his mother. ♪

I'll go find her.

Tootaloo.

Wait, Ming-Ming.

Let's find her together.

Oh, yeah, together.

That has worked before.

Look, Linny.

There's something in that tree.

That's a koala bear.

Maybe she's seen the baby kangaroo's mother.

We could ask her.

Good idea.

Hello, there.

G'day.

We're trying to find this baby kangaroo's mother.

Have you seen her?

♪ Mama.

♪ I saw the mama kangaroo looking everywhere for you. ♪

I saw her too.

[Mama koala] ♪ Mama kangaroo went thataway.

[baby koala] ♪ Thataway.

Thank you.

We'd better find her before the sun goes down.

Yeah, it's hard to find kangaroos in the dark.

So I hear.

[trilling noise]

♪ What was that sound I heard?

♪ It's coming from that bird. ♪

[trilling noise]

♪ Maybe he's seen the joey's mother. ♪

G'day, mates.

Wow, you are one big bird.

I'm an emu.

I'm the biggest bird in all of Australia.

Well, you know, where I come from,

I'm considered quite big.

Really? Yes.

I think one of my gweat-gwandparents

was an emu.

♪ Good day to you, emu. ♪

♪ We want to help this kangaroo. ♪

[Wonder Pets] ♪ Have you seen the joey's mother? ♪

♪ I saw your mama kangaroo

♪ looking sad 'cause she missed you. ♪

♪ Mama.

Don't worry, joey.

We'll find your mama.

♪ She went looking for you thataway. ♪

[Wonder Pets] ♪ Thataway.

♪ Mama.

Thank you, emu.

We gotta go.

Let's hurry, Wonder Pets.

The sun is starting to go down.

[Mama kangaroo] ♪ Baby.

♪ Mama, mama.

He hears his mama.

I knew those animals could help.

But I don't see her.

How can we find her?

[Wonder Pets] Hmm.

♪ I know.

♪ I'll fly way up high

♪ and get what they call a bird's-eye view. ♪

Great idea, Ming-Ming.

♪ I've had more than a few. ♪

I...can't...go...

much higher.

Oh, well. I tried.

Good try, Ming-Ming.

Now, how can we get up really high

so we can see the mama kangaroo?

♪ We can climb the rock.

Great idea, Tuck.

And we'd better hurry,

'cause it will be dark any minute.

Then we'll never find the mama kangaroo.

Okay, Wonder Pets, let's climb the rock.

[Mama kangaroo] ♪ Baby.

Linny!

♪ The wall gets too steep. ♪

♪ And we don't have much time. ♪

♪ This is se-wious.

We'll just have to help each other up, Wonder Pets.

If we all work together, I know we can do it.

Teamwork. Uh-huh.

♪ Linny.

♪ Tuck.

♪ And Ming-Ming too. ♪

The teamwork worked.

[Tuck] There she is,

the mama kangaroo.

♪ Mama.

I was looking everywhere for my baby.

You're welcome, Mama kangaroo.

This calls for a celebration.

You mean a celery-bration.

Ming-Ming.

Australian style-- on the barbie?

What's a barbie?

A barbie is an Australian barbecue.

Sounds good.

[sizzling]

Mmm!

Yummy.

Celery on the barbie.

Delicious.
