PHIL KEOGHAN: Previously on "The Amazing Race."

Our most competitive season ever began with a splash.

Go!

[cheering]

Fly to Reykjavik, Iceland!

PHIL KEOGHAN: In Iceland, team Goat

Yoga got off to a rocky start--

I don't know why you have to be so hurtful.

Are you gonna cry again?

PHIL KEOGHAN: --while others were steady as a rock.

I'm pretty sure we just smoked everybody.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Team Big Brother's Cody

sped through the Roadblock.

JESSICA: You just b*at a Yale graduate

in a spelling competition.

PHIL KEOGHAN: And Team Slam Dunk was called for a foul--

It's still wrong.

Come on, Matrix.

PHIL KEOGHAN: --and received a penalty.

X-Game skiers Kristi and Jen gave it their best sh*t

and took the gold.

[cheering]

Cedric and Shawn were spared from elimination.

I am pleased to tell you you are still in The Amazing Race.

In the end, it came down to inches

in the closest finish we've ever had.

Oh, my god!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And the ring girls got knocked out of the game.

[crying]

teams remain.

Who will be eliminated next?

Gross.

I mean, yum!

[music playing]

- I don't want to. - I'm with you.

You're OK, honey.

KRISTI: A couple of minutes after we got on to the mat,

we just took a drink of Black Death.

And I was like, oh, no, it's the Black Death.

This race is no walk in the park.

I don't care what your background

is, this race is not easy.

But we are competitors through and through.

And I think you need to be able to rise to the occasion.

A few more deep breaths.

We are all in in this race.

You crushed it today.

KRISTI: Five minutes later, I was good as new and happy

to be standing here as winners of the first leg of the race.

I think I'm going to survive.

Good.

- Oh, that was a close one. - Oh, my god.

I'm so sorry.

KRISTI: Team one.

I can't believe we're doing this.

All right, route info.

Travel to Antwerp, Belgium.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Kristi And Jen will

be the first team to leave the sparsely

populated country of Iceland.

After flying to Amsterdam, they'll

board a train to Antwerp, Belgium,

where they'll need to find this chocolate shop by : AM.

Chocolate is so revered here that % of

the entire population makes it.

They'll get their next clue from Stan, a chocolatier here

in Downtown Antwerp.

Due to limited availability, we have reservations for you

two from Reykjavik to Amsterdam.

- All right. - Let's do it.

- All right. - Ready?

All right, we've got to find this place.

There's a person right there.

Can you help us get to this travel agency?

JEN: We're on the same flight with all the other teams.

So we don't have a big lead on other teams.

They are going to be right behind us.

And we need to perform at our best.

Do you know where this street is?

- It's there. - OK.

- Let's do this. - Oh, my god, Kristi.

Woo!

You have $ for this leg of the race.

We're going to Amsterdam!

Belgium.

We haven't been dating that long.

- All - All right, ready?

Yeah, let's go.

But three months in the Big Brother house

is like three years in reality.

At Big Brother, you can't get away from those people,

especially the ones you hate.

But, like, here, I mean, you're running around

with somebody you like and you don't

have to be around them so much.

Like?

Love.

And make your way to the--

[AMUSED] Chocolate! [laughs]

- --chocolate shop. - Let's go.

EVAN: It was very gratifying after the first leg

to know that we can absolutely compete

with people that are champions in a very athletic discipline.

Here we go.

HENRY: We were on Yale's competitive debate team,

and physicality was not our strength.

But I do think that our good showing in leg one

will definitely make them recognize that we're, you know,

a team to reckon with.

Definitely.

That's one out-of-place sign.

We have a flight that leaves here at :.

Can we work with you?

Sure.

Can I get your names? - OK, yeah.

Let's book. - Yay, you guys!

- Hi, guys! - Hi!

Hi!

Going into the second leg, we were pretty excited.

We travel a lot for what we do, but we don't

get to stay for very long. - All right.

- Thank you very much. - Thanks so much.

We do a sound check, we do a concert,

and then we fly away the next day.

Hey, guys, I think the bus leaves in six minutes.

- OK, let's go. - Thank you!

We're in "The Amazing Race," we're

very much integrating into different environments,

different cultures.

Buy bus tickets?

I'll take the left.

We need two bus tickets for the airport, please.

Thank you.

All right.

Airport.

It's going to be a footrace once we touch down in Amsterdam

to get on the train, first train to Belgium.

Oh, you see the reference number?

Yeah, the [inaudible].

OK.

All right, we got our tickets.

APRIL: Last leg was tough.

We were neck-and-neck.

We had some navigation issues.

We had some communication issues.

Just do your passive aggressive, "while you were asleep,

I figured out all the directions."

Despite the emotional part of us,

we still work very well together.

Nobody's in last place.

It's all even fields.

Right.

We can step up. - Yep.

We're going to be fine.

Yep.

Regardless of the penalties and difficulties

we had in the last leg, we had to continue racing.

When we played basketball, our job was to win,

and this is the same scenario here with "The Amazing Race."

SHAWN: We're all on the same playing field right now.

Oh, hi.

SHAWN: It's even grounds, even territories.

It's tough, because somebody can be right there on your heels

or right in front of you, and you've

got to take it to another gear in order to stay in front.

You've got to all in.

No holds barred, baby.

[music playing]

- How'd you guys sleep? - No sleep.

Yeah.

[cathedral bell ringing]

Welcome to Belgium.

Thank you.

- Thank you, sir. - Oh, thank you.

Thank you!

Good luck.

Roadblock.

Roadblock.

What do you get if you take -plus foot

train and some rope ladders?

An opportunity to get so high, you

can almost see all of Belgium.

This is sky climb, the latest, greatest death-defying

adrenaline rush in town.

And now, a Roadblock for teams here in Belgium.

Their next clue looks very small from here.

That's a long way up.

- I got it, I got it. - You sure?

- I'm going to go, I guess. - I'll do it.

- You, uh-- - I'll do it.

- I am. - You.

Where's the ladder? Oh.

The sky climb is located on the waterfront.

The water is this way.

OK, let's keep looking on this side.

You know where sky climb is?

OK.

Thank you.

They're going, man.

They're running.

TIM: Joey, you got to hustle, man.

Hustle, hustle, hustle.

[inaudible]

We just need to go this way towards the water.

- Yeah, sounds good. - Over there!

What do you think?

Is that a crane?

Let's just take one step at a time.

SHAWN: I see crane.

Come on!

CEDRIC: Right here, right here. - Number one, baby.

- Right here. - Number one.

- First. - There's a crane.

Is that it? - Could be.

Woo!

There it is!

We've got to look for a number when we got there.

Good job.

TIM: Joey, if you don't run now--

JOEY: You see it? TIM: Yeah!

Come on!

This is the first time in our careers

that we actually have to work together.

Usually, we work against each other,

so we're still learning how to do that.

Joey, you've got to run!

JOEY: Tim doesn't give up, and he pushes me.

TIM: Come on, man!

I've actually apologized to him a couple

of times for yelling at him.

Hurry!

He says, keep doing it.

I respond better to the mean stuff.

We're third.

There you go.

k*ll it.

You've got to hustle more, man.

We got fourth.

This is competitive eating, just a different game.

The same mental game.

Same strategy.

Just different physical stuff.

We're five.

Five.

Let's do this.

I don't know.

So lost.

It's basically north of where we are.

But it's--

We are running the opposite direction of our end goal.

SHAWN: I'm not good with heights, but, hey,

it is what it is, baby.

Go!

We had to climb to the top of the ladder

and get the clue before the ladder descended on their own

and the ride was over.

Chris is kicking ass.

Get it, Joey!

Strong and hard, buddy!

Push!

SHAWN: That was a real strenuous workout.

The higher I got, the harder it became for me.

And the wind started blowing.

I'm moving all over the place.

I was really, really nervous being up that high.

CODY: Good job, Jess!

One at a time!

Gosh, she's fearless.

I love her.

Our flag fell down.

He's already at the top.

He's just going to tap it.

I don't know how high that is, but I'm on the ground

and I'm shaking.

TIM: Come on, Joey!

Don't lose it!

Another flag.

I don't know if I nicked it or jarred it free from the top

when I fell.

I just had to finish.

Good job Jessica!

She makes me a proud boyfriend.

At-ta, girl!

Good job, man.

Oh, my god.

My biceps have never b*rned more than this, literally ever.

- Detour! - Detour.

First detour.

Few inventions have had more impact

on civilization than the printing press, which made it

possible to distribute information to the masses

for the first time.

When you think about how easy it is

to send a message around the world today,

this gives you a real appreciation

for just how painstaking this pioneering printing process

was.

Something teams will now experience

when they try to print a clue.

This is the hardest naturally occurring

substance on Earth, pure carbon, formed by heat and pressure.

% of the world's rough diamonds

come here to Antwerp to be cut.

A multibillion dollar business.

This necklace is worth $,.

Based on its carat, color, and clarity,

three factors teams will need to consider

when evaluating three diamonds.

They'll then add those values to the cost

of an unfinished necklace and calculate the total value

for their next clue.

Let's, uh-- let's take diamond glint for now.

- Diamond glint. - Old print.

- OK. - I want to do old print.

I think we can do the diamonds.

We're tied with Big Brother, NBA, and Team Chomp,

so it seems like we're all headed

to the detour at the same time.

I don't see any other teams.

We're backtracking a bit.

This is completely the wrong way from where we need to go.

- All right, all right. - Where is everybody else going?

They're running this way.

How come they went that way?

Yellow and red.

That could be just the Belgian flag wound up.

What are we missing?

I'm open information man, if you--

- No, I have nothing. - --have anything.

We should get in the taxi.

Sky climb, is that you're looking for?

Same thing? - Yeah.

Because this is water, but that's the true water front.

We see cranes.

Where's all the taxis in this place?

No taxis.

Of course.

You sure we can't make our way on foot or no?

Dude, no way.

Taxi, taxi, taxi!

So we're going to, uh, the sky climb.

Really?

Yeah, can we go?

Yeah, we just don't know where it is.

Hopefully it's close.

APRIL: There's the crane, Sarah!

OK, where's the number. - Right here!

Six! Woo!

Oh, thank heavens.

Take a number, babe.

Seventh place?

Well, that was a stupid run.

Where do we check in?

Kristi.

Hopefully we're not at the very last.

Ah!

Nine. Woo.

We're number .

Our downfall this whole race has been our direction.

This is crazy.

Sarah, you've got this.

You can do it, babe!

[inaudible] I'm going to get that clue at the top.

You've got this.

Up, up and away.

Go!

Yeah, Kristi!

Crushing it.

You've got this, Evan!

BRITTANY: Go, Lucas!

APRIL: Come on, Sarah, you've got it!

HENRY: Come on, Evan!

Almost there!

JEN: Come on, girl.

Come on, come on, come on.

Kristi's, she's at the clue.

Get it, get it, get it, get it.

Woo!

BRITTANY: You got it, hun!

HENRY: Take your time, Evan.

Great job.

BRITTANY: Just slide down.

Just kidding.

We can't do that.

Kristi just freaking crushed that.

Way to go.

Ew.

- Old print %. - Old print!

We're going to do old print.

We're choosing diamond glint!

OK, old print.

We're going to do old print.

Here's something.

Is this it?

Printing museum.

Are we the first ones here?

Uh, yeah, you're the first.

[laughs]

Wow.

[flute playing]

Is this it?

Yeah, this is it.

Read the clue.

Where's the clue?

Thank you.

Yup, right here.

This is it.

Big Brother b*at us.

[inaudible] to produce the foam at your station.

Get a D.

Is this the D?

That's a B. They're backwards.

All the letters are upside down and in reverse,

so we kind of have to copy it in reverse.

This is A and D.

OK, go!

Being and is the worst.

We're both tied for last.

Come on, Alex.

Come on, Eric.

Come on.

Steady progress.

I was fighting for last with a firefighter, who you'd think

would be pretty good at climbing ladders, which he was.

One step at a time!

Yeah, they have something in their mouths.

I hope it's a clue.

All right, let's get it.

- You're great at that. - Old print.

- Old print. - We're doing the diamond glint.

- I'm going to get my bag. - All right, yeah.

Here.

Let's go get bags.

There's a cab.

Babe.

What was that? - You didn't tell me yes or no!

All right, all right.

Do you want to grab it? Yes.

Taxi!

God!

Pineapple.

Pineapple.

"Pineapple" is our safe word, which

basically allows one to tell the other,

get it together, calm down.

The first real time we have to use the word "pineapple."

TIM: Come on, man!

JOEY: I'm cramping up a little bit, Tim.

TIM: You know, they probably have their clues by now.

KRISTI: Shortcut!

JEN: Nice, Kristi.

Nice, Kristi!

EVAN: OK, here we go.

HENRY: OK, so we're doing this.

Oh, OK. Gotcha, gotcha.

JEN: Here's our poem.

KRISTI: Oh.

We need to mirror-image this, right?

That's what I think we want it to look like.

KRISTI: It took us only a few minutes to figure out

that if we grabbed the card--

And held it up to the light.

--held it up to the light, that

it was exactly a mirror-image of what we needed to do.

I need an I.

Oh, there's a taxi. Run!

Where?

Straight.

We're heading to the ADC Building.

Hopefully we have a talent at--

Appraising.

--appraising diamonds.

My husband taught me a lot about diamonds

because he was very, very, very picky

when getting my diamond ring.

TIM: The ADC Building. Right here.

Are we the first ones here?

JOEY: First ones here.

TIM: Good job, man. Hello.

How are you doing?

Could you go very slowly for us?

Rubs it.

OK, she weighs it.

She takes it out with the millimeters

to weight in carats.

I'll just keep watching.

We had to grade and appraise three diamonds based on weight,

color, and the imperfections.

You can actually measure the width first with the caliper

device, and then you would weigh them on a very precise scale,

figure out a base value for the diamonds,

and then we had to deduct from the value

based upon their imperfections and their coloring.

So let's do one at a time here.

All right, measure the width and make sure they're zero.

The IndyCar guys.

All right.

Yeah?

-- or .

When we got there, I was a sweaty mess.

Be careful.

Don't drip on it, OK?

Never seen a guy sweat so profusely,

but, hey, man, that's another thing you do better

than anybody else, I guess.

Hey, guys.

I thought you weighed it first.

No. Read the steps.

I never held a diamond or pretty much anything of value.

I only used a microscope once, I think, in eighth grade

looking at like-- - Worms.

--stuff.

[flute playing]

You've got the Gs in the wrong way.

It's supposed to read this way.

Do it then, professor.

This is pretty meticulous, actually,

which is why I'm not too concerned about the other teams

right now.

Let's give it a sh*t.

OK.

God, my legs hurt.

Hi!

I can't print it like this because it's too high now.

- Oh. - These things--

So they go in between the lines.

Oh.

--have to come from underneath.

Gosh, this sucks.

You know what, Jess?

We're just going to have to start over.

No.

[flute playing]

There it is.

OK, we got this.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Come on, dental hygiene skills.

Like, I don't want to get my prints on it.

I'm looking for any inclusions, which

are little imperfections in the diamond because that

creates a deduction of value.

It's a little unclear what an inclusion looks like.

SHAWN: You see another D?

A B or a D?

CEDRIC: B.

SHAWN: It's a B. We've got it, we got it, we got it.

Let's go, let's go.

It's got to be over there. CEDRIC: Good morning.

SHAWN: Good morning, good morning.

CEDRIC: I was surprised it didn't have any emojis.

I mean, early centuries, they should

have had some facial expression emojis or something.

We had to print maybe three or four lines.

I just couldn't imagine somebody having

to print that way a whole book.

That's how they did things in the olden days.

Let's see what you [inaudible]..

[inaudible].

Oh, hold on.

This is upside down.

That's why.

CEDRIC: We had the Ds and Bs backwards and wrong.

And you write P. The P is that way.

That's it, right here.

[flute playing]

BRITTANY: Yes, yes, yes.

HENRY: Bravo, and then a period. We need a period.

EVAN: Oh. - I got it.

Give me a second.

I'm, uh-- I'm getting a little bit--

- Behind? - --backed up.

Yeah, exactly.

L-E-K-V-I-N-D

It should look a P but backwards.

This one's P right.

Y-V-U-T [inaudible].

E period.

That's it.

Let's get out of here.

We're back again.

[inaudible]

Like that?

Yeah.

OK, you've got it.

Congratulations. - Thank you.

Here is your next clue.

Thank you.

Yeah!

He says, this is your clue.

I started looking around like, where's our clue?

Like, no, this is your clue.

Can you translate for us?

Silvius Brabo.

It's a statue.

It's here.

That's where we go?

OK.

Ah!

That's what I'm talking about.

This is a great instrument, though.

It has this awesome little suction situation.

You can see some graining through it.

This is our big diamond.

It's worth $,.

Which is median income of an American family.

There was a lot of numbers flying around,

and we had so many equations going on at once.

Can we have a check, please?

We're not diamond appraisers, so we don't know

if our assessments are correct.

This is not correct.

OK, thank you.

We're re-looking at every diamond

to just see if we did it right.

Or maybe our eyes are just playing tricks on us.

- All right, so that-- - This looks more white.

These look yellow. This looks more white than that.

Let's say no-- let's say it's no color.

Yeah.

All right, just stay calm.

You're doing great.

.

Let's see what happens.

This is not correct.

It's not?

OK, let's-- first, let's just measure everything, OK?

This is, uh, a little crazier than texting.

Much more time-consuming.

Please, lord.

- OK, congratulations. - Yes!

Yes, yes, yes, yes!

You've got your next clue.

Do you know what this happens to say?

Take a number and start the frites race.

What's a frite race?

Fries, French fries.

The frites race?

JESSICA: She's smiling.

Yay!

Thanks.

Come on, baby!

You see it?

Right here, right here.

Number one, baby.

Number one.

Crowd info.

It's time to go Head-to-Head.

PHIL KEOGHAN: It's believed that what

we call French fries were actually invented by Belgians,

who call them frites.

And they love them so much, they sometimes

dress up in giant frites costumes like this to race.

Now, the most competitive group of racers

ever assembled will face their first ever

head-to-head competition on "The Amazing Race."

A member from each of these highly competitive teams

will race head-to-head around this obstacle course.

Winners will check in at the pit stop.

Losers will have to wait for the next team and race again.

If they lose the final race, they will be eliminated.

Pick one member of your team to complete the race.

You may switch partners between races.

If you lose the race after all the other teams

have completed--

Oh.

OK, so we've got [inaudible].

We were inches from stepping on the mat with Phil.

Right here.

We have to win a race.

But when we opened up our clue, it

was something different that had never

been done before in "Amazing Race" history.

It was a challenge between two teams.

So we've got to wait for whoever gets here.

All right, let's get out these bags.

Crossed fingers.

Yes!

Oh!

Whew.

LUCAS: Babe, are you comfortable with this?

Yeah, let's try it.

That doesn't look right.

No, not at all.

[whistles] We're going to be here for a while.

You have your mirror?

Yeah, there's no, uh, auto-correct down here.

Whatever you do, don't drop it.

[inaudible].

It's completely upside down.

We chose the wrong Detour.

So maybe we'll try to just kind of spin it.

This might be totally wrong, but--

It can't be any more wrong than the first one.

It says the town hall of Silvius Brabo.

What is this?

I don't see anything.

Town hall is actually behind here.

OK.

Let's kick it into gear.

We need to find that statue.

Here it is.

[chuckles]

Team Big Brother just showed up.

Oh, OK.

If you lose the last race after all

the teams have competed, you'll be eliminated from the race.

All right, let's go ahead.

NBA team are still here, and so is Big Brother.

Do I look yummy.

- Three is next. - Three?

- I'll do this. - Do you want to do this?

OK, great.

Am I racing against you, Cedric?

Yes.

Obviously, Cody's about ' ", ' ".

And, you know, his center of gravity is real low,

So I figured it might be easier for him.

Looks like we have Cedric and Cody going head-to-head

in our first frites race.

Are you ready?

Ready.

Get set!

Go! - All right, they're off.

Come on, baby!

SHAWN: Come on, buddy. Come on.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Cedric has dropped one of his frites.

JESSICA: Come on, baby!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Cody is taking a big lead right now.

JESSICA: Come on, Cody! You've got this!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Cedric is having terrible difficulty

steering his dolly.

Cody is making his way through the obstacle course.

He's got a very determined look on his face.

His frites have stayed on.

Ah!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Cedric just dropped

all eight bags of his frites.

JESSICA: First place, babe!

First place!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Cody has got a huge lead right now.

SHAWN: It's all right, baby.

Come on.

Finish it, baby.

[inaudible]

You got this!

Cross that line!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And that's a win for Cody right there.

All right, good stuff.

[cheering]

Go.

PHIL KEOGHAN: The winner of that first head-to-head.

Welcome to Antwerp, Belgium.

Thank you.

Thanks

Cody and Jessica, I am pleased to tell you

that you are team number one.

Yes!

As the winners of this leg of the race,

you have won $, each.

A good leg to win.

Yeah.

I'm so happy.

This race is our redemption from "Big Brother."

And this is our opportunity.

Now, I think everyone knows we're the team to b*at.

Frites race didn't go too good for me.

Oh, we got to go again, though, huh?

Yeah, you got to go against the next person.

I know I look crazy with these fries on.

Some seasoned salt on.

A little bit seasoned salt on.

That's all you need on there, seasoning salt.

You don't think it has inclusions?

Yeah, no inclusions.

We've been handling it with our scummy fingers.

Do those count?

What are those?

We thought that those were flaws in the diamond.

We didn't realize my skin was getting

on this piece of jewelry.

Check.

That is correct.

Oh, my god.

OK, we've got to speak to someone

who speaks this language.

Pardon me, miss.

The G is upside down.

Complete-- everything has got to be faced upside down.

Let's go word by word.

I can't look.

I'm going to throw up.

Come on. What?

- Sorry. - Wrong?

Wrong.

We have to use actually an N?

No, I think we have to flip them around.

I don't know, man.

I've never had this kind of problem.

I don't know why it's so confusing.

It's still not right.

Look.

That's right.

I think we should probably switch.

You think so?

I feel like no matter what we do,

it's not going right on there.

We're going to switch.

We've got to go, man!

It really matters right now.

It may be our last decision on the race,

but that's what we're going to do.

It should be up here on the right.

Oh, no.

Are you kidding me?

JEN: Yes, yes, yes.

I see [inaudible].

KRISTI: [inaudible] big statue, big statue.

JEN: Down here, down here, Kristi!

There's a clue! OK.

We're good. We're OK, we're OK.

PHIL KEOGHAN: All right, here we go.

EVAN: You can do this, hun.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Now, we have Shawn up against Henry

in our second frites race.

Are you ready?

Get set!

Go!

CEDRIC: Come on, big dog.

EVAN: Slow and steady, Henry.

You've got this.

Slow and steady!

Lean back!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Major disaster right out of the gate.

HENRY: Oh, sorry. Yo.

What the--

PHIL KEOGHAN: Henry has lost a heel on the back of his shoe.

EVAN: Come on, hun!

Lean back!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Shawn has now a -foot lead.

CEDRIC: Take your time, take your time.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Henry is struggling a wee bit.

His back as bent over.

EVAN: You're OK, hun!

Don't worry about it! CEDRIC: Take your time.

Oh.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Shawn, he's a little

lost, a little disoriented.

He's not sure which way to go.

CEDRIC: Take your time, [inaudible]..

PHIL KEOGHAN: It's very hard to see around all the frites

that are around his head.

EVAN: Slow on those turns!

Great job.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Henry is having a lot of difficulty steering.

HENRY: Oh, man.

SHAWN: Oh, my god.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Shawn, tiny little dolly in his hands,

got a good -foot lead right now.

EVAN: You can do this, hun.

PHIL KEOGHAN: The key here is not

to let your frites fall off.

CEDRIC: Come on, big dog.

EVAN: You've got it, Henry.

CEDRIC: Go, go, go, go.

We all the way in.

PHIL KEOGHAN: And that is an official win for Shawn.

EVAN: He's across, Henry, so just take your time.

CEDRIC: Come on, [inaudible] let's check in, let's check in.

Hey, sir.

The biggest frites in all of Belgium.

You're back must be k*lling you.

Oh, man!

Because your technique--

I mean, that dolly--

[laughs]

CEDRIC: It's a great day for us.

Our last leg, we thought we were out of this thing.

We recovered.

The race continues, and we definitely going to be in it.

JEN: You got this, Kristi!

This is all you, girl!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And here, we now have Evan up against Kristi.

[inaudible] at the line!

, , , go!

HENRY: Come on, Evan!

JEN: Yes, Kristi!

Keep it low, girl! You got it!

PHIL KEOGHAN: The most difficult thing

is just steering the dolly.

You can see that Evan is having real difficulty steering.

She's gone right into the barricade.

Kristi is slow and steady.

She's taking her time.

HENRY: You got this, Evan!

Slow and steady!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Very difficult to move

the dolly around the course.

You can see that it's quite twisty through here.

JEN: Nice job, Kristi!

PHIL KEOGHAN: This is a little bit like skiing, slalom skiing.

Making your way around the barriers.

JEN: Yeah, girl!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Kristi's got a good lead

now of at least feet.

HENRY: You got this, Evan!

You're not too far.

JEN: Awesome job, Kristi!

k*lling it, lady!

Keep it up!

HENRY: You got this, Evan!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Kristi's about to go over

the bridge with their frites.

We have eight frites on the dolly.

JEN: Nice, Kristi!

Nice!

HENRY: Great job, Evan.

Keep it up.

JEN: Come on, Kristi!

Nice work, girl!

KRISTI: Awesome.

JEN: Nice job, Kristi.

Let's go see Phil, lady!

Excellent.

Jump on the mat.

Kristi, it's like you used some skiing techniques, perhaps.

I've done a little bit of racing.

Oh, you sure have.

There it is.

OK, let's find it. Ah!

What do you think about this Head-to-Head?

Because right now, Henry and Evan have

just lost two frites races.

Trevor!

KRISTI: There's a fatigue factor.

I feel like I could go again, but I wouldn't

want to go three or four times.

Run, run.

That would be very difficult.

Yeah.

PHIL KEOGHAN: All right, we have Henry and Chris.

Set, go!

Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And already, Chris has steered off track.

Henry has got a little bit more control, but look at Chris go.

That was a crazy power move.

It was not intentional.

I promise.

TREVOR: Oh, brutal.

EVAN: Slow and steady, hun!

It's OK.

Slow!

Hen, Hen.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Henry has lost his frites.

EVAN: It's OK!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Chris seems to have

complete control of his dolly.

TREVOR: Slow down, Chris!

Chris, slow down!

You've got time.

Slow down.

PHIL KEOGHAN: You've got to remember,

this is Henry's second race, so he's quite fatigued now.

Chris is over the bridge.

All he has to do now, cross the finish line.

You're the best French fry ever!

EVAN: Walk it in, bud.

PHIL KEOGHAN: This is going to be really tough on Henry

right now. - [sighs]

It's OK, guy.

We've got to make sure we don't go the wrong way on this.

We should be veering to the right, Eric.

It's only grand.

We don't know yet.

It might be worth more.

Dag-gone it!

Sarah?

You dropped the $, diamond.

Just go in order.

I haven't done the color on anything on this.

Just go to the middle. Just go up.

OK, OK.

Why would you skip around?

This one look a little yellow.

I just figured it out.

This is correct.

Oh, my god.

You're kidding me. - Thank you.

What a woman.

I love this lady.

What the heck just happened?

TIM: To see that room empty out and to see just one other team

that arrived after us still there,

that was pretty discouraging.

We have no idea what a flawed diamond looks like.

Let's just change one point.

One of them.

This is crazy.

Check, please, judge.

This is correct.

Oh, thank you so much.

Thank you.

All right, let's get out of here.

Let's bolt, man.

LUCAS: That's got to be right.

BRITTANY: Ah!

OK, you've got it.

Here's your next clue.

Oh, that's [inaudible].

Thank you guys.

SARAH: This is going to be our last time, because we're

obviously not getting it.

And then we're going to just go do the other one.

[inaudible].

Where?

Right here.

SARAH: We were about to give up.

We said this is the last one, then we'll go over

to the print press, but then--

APRIL: The twins came.

So we just got a renewed energy.

I'm just taking it slowly and starting over.

Uh, we're pretty good with details.

I've never messed with jewelry before, but--

Hopefully better than we are with printing press.

It was a fixed process.

Like, it was a number and we just had to keep doing that.

There's a ramp.

There's a lot that goes into racing

that people don't really realize,

I think on the physical side.

Indy champ is going to race for us.

We have no power-steering in our cars.

There's no assist.

There's no air conditioning.

We're in three layers of fireproof clothing,

sweating to pounds a race.

It's a relentless toll that your body takes.

Hopefully that's something that we'll be

able to use as an asset today.

Carts with French fries are a little bit

different than race cars, so hopefully the skills

aren't directly transferable.

Ready, guys? - Let's go.

Yeah, let's go.

HENRY: Did you see Ocean Rescue just got here?

BRITTANY: Oh, [inaudible].

Right here.

PHIL KEOGHAN: This is going to be a very telling race.

Alex is loading up his frites.

Evan feels she has an advantage right now because she's

been around the course.

She knows the court.

But to lose this race would be really tough on Henry and Evan.

HENRY: You got this, Ev.

I believe in you.

OK, , , , go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Here we go.

All right, Alex.

Let's go, Indy champ.

Right out of the gate, Alex has taken the lead.

HENRY: You got this, Ev.

Slow and steady!

Let's go, let's go, let's go!

Come on, come on!

HENRY: You got this, you got this.

Don't go too fast.

Just stay steady.

Just stay steady with the cart.

CONOR: Racing line.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Alex is picking a line.

Like any good race car driver, he's looking

for the apexes on the corner.

CONOR: It's a late apex right here.

Late apex. [laughs]

Smooth, smooth.

PHIL KEOGHAN: He's got a good -foot lead.

CONOR: [laughs] Good job.

Smooth.

One bag fell.

Watch the ramp.

Slow.

You've got a big lead.

HENRY: You've got this, Evan.

PHIL KEOGHAN: And Alex takes the win for his team.

Is that it?

Yeah.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Evan, quite defeated now.

Their fourth loss in a row.

Alex and Conor.

Boom!

The most difficult part of that race

was the damper program when the dolly was lacking a little bit.

Do you think we should take it into the shop

and maybe have the mechanics work on that?

I appreciate that.

BRITTANY: Do you want to do it? LUCAS: Yes.

BRITTANY: OK.

PHIL KEOGHAN: This will be Henry's third Head-to-Head,

the fifth for their team.

EVAN: Hun, this is your race.

BRITTANY: Lucas, you got it. Go, baby.

Go, baby, go.

Uh huh.

You've got it, babe.

, , , go!

BRITTANY: Go, Lucas!

EVAN: You got this, hun.

You got this.

Oh, you're doing so well.

BRITTANY: Find the inside line, baby!

EVAN: Watch that curb, watch that curb!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Lucas has just-- - Sorry, sorry.

No worries, no worries. Come on.

Keep it up.

PHIL KEOGHAN: --slipped pass Henry.

And Henry has lost a bag of frites.

BRITTANY: Go, go, go, go, go, go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Lucas is making his way around the turns.

BRITTANY: Concentrate!

PHIL KEOGHAN: He's smooth.

BRITTANY: Go, baby!

EVAN: You're so close, hun!

Tight race!

BRITTANY: You've got it, babe.

EVAN: Come on, hun.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Henry is really exhausted,

just ran right into another barricade.

EVAN: It's OK, hun.

BRITTANY: Easy, easy, easy.

Go, go, go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Lucas is over the bridge.

BRITTANY: Go, go, go, go, go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: He's smooth.

Lucas and Brittany take the win.

Henry defeated.

LUCAS: I'm so sorry. EVAN: Oh.

Oh, my god. Don't apologize.

LUCAS: I feel so bad.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Lucas and Brittany,

a very emotional finish.

[inaudible] I promise.

I cry over everything.

If you want to cry over something,

have a think about this.

Henry and Evan now have had five Head-to-Heads.

- I feel so bad. - I know.

I feel so horrible for them.

And it's going to get tougher because it gets tiring.

And they've lost all five of them.

And they're getting more and more tired.

And here we are.

This is now the third Head-to-Head for Evan,

the sixth for their team.

, , , go!

JOEY: Come on, Tim!

HENRY: You got this, Evan!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And straight away, Tim is--

he's out of control a little bit.

He's really losing control.

He's slowing down now, getting a little more steady.

JOEY: Focus!

HENRY: Stay steady, Evan!

That's great!

JOEY: You don't need to rush!

She's already getting tired!

PHIL KEOGHAN: The key is keeping the frites on the dolly.

HENRY: Great job, Evan.

JOEY: You got this!

Stay focused.

Just don't make sure they don't fall.

Make sure they-- you don't hit the obstacles.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Evan is absolutely exhausted.

They're trying to stay positive, but this

has to be demoralizing.

Remember, this is the sixth Head-to-Head

for Henry and Evan.

They were third to arrive here.

And now, they're losing the race for seventh place.

Tim coming over to the finish line.

Tim takes the win.

Woo!

Oh, Dr. Phil.

- Do you like French fries? - We do, yeah.

I love them. I hold the record.

Just over six pounds of French fries eaten in eight minutes.

Not impressed?

Well, kind of. PHIL KEOGHAN: Kind of?

What are you talking about? - It's amazing.

It's the best in the world.

So we're neck-and-neck with Goat Yoga right now.

They apparently have been here a long time.

So we checked it three times.

I don't even know if I'm doing it right.

I'm actually sick of looking at it.

I'm feeling good about this challenge.

Like I said, there's always hope until it's over with.

I'm just going to say there's no flaws.

Let's good, right?

[cheering]

Finally!

That's not good.

The girls just got it.

SARAH: We're not last!

Oh, my gosh!

We got it!

It was-- we had gotten the same

number like eight times and suddenly, we got a new number.

It was awesome.

Oh, I'm so happy we're not last.

I'm so happy!

At this point, we know it's not the weight.

We know it's not the clarity.

We got a new number.

Judge.

That is correct.

Woo!

Hey, we can catch up. - Yeah.

Yeah, no, we're good.

This is so fun, Sarah.

- Second to last again. - It's OK.

Are you ready?

Yeah.

All right, we're in it.

So when we got to the city center,

it was the first ever Head-to-Head race.

We saw the Yale team.

And they seemed like they had been there a while.

Sarah, we've got to win this one because otherwise,

we're racing the boys. - We got it.

- You can do this, yeah? - Yeah.

One of our big slowdowns was the cart

was hard to control, especially being as tired as we were.

I said to myself, it makes more sense

to stay in the middle of the lane as opposed

to try to take every inside turn

Ready?

, , !

[horn blows] PHIL KEOGHAN: All right.

Henry-- EVAN: Come on, hun!

You're so good!

PHIL KEOGHAN: --and April.

April is holding in with him, but that was a--

EVAN: Oh, yeah, hun!

PHIL KEOGHAN: That's a rough move right there.

Henry cut right in front of April.

This is the first time we've actually seen Henry

really take charge of the race.

EVAN: OK, watch the turn!

Watch the curb!

Come on, hun!

Watch it!

PHIL KEOGHAN: This is the tricky part right now.

But April is hanging with him.

EVAN: Oh, yeah, Henry!

Watch this turn!

Coming around. You're k*lling it!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And Henry is really focused.

He's determined.

He does not want to have to do this again.

The seventh time that their team has tried this race.

EVAN: You're coming into the ramp!

PHIL KEOGHAN: This is the first time that Henry

has got to the bridge first.

Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!

Come on, Henry!

You've got this!

Amazing, Henry!

PHIL KEOGHAN: April is struggling.

It is really tough.

Henry's coming up to the finish line.

All he has to do is just cross first, but he's having trouble!

He's down!

Did he cross the line?

I can't see.

EVAN: Come on, Henry!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And he's across the line.

And April, very close behind.

A very dramatic finish right there.

You did exactly what you needed to do.

Spectacular finish.

I am pleased to tell you that you

are officially team number eight,

after seven Head-to-Heads.

I don't think we've ever been--

Eighth place.

--so happy with eighth place in our entire lives.

Throughout the entire thing, Henry and I

were trying to stay as positive as we could

because we knew it doesn't matter how many times you lose.

You just have to win one to stay in the race, which

is what we're trying to do at this point.

I don't think we ever lost sight of that.

PHIL KEOGHAN: Oh, look.

Here come the twins, our last team for our last race.

Woo!

Hey, the fries!

We're not jewelers, guys.

SARAH: We got it, because they don't know what they're doing.

So can you do it? Or--

I don't know.

--do you think you could do any better?

No, I think you can do better.

I figured April would be best because she didn't drop

any bags on her first race.

Problem is, we only have one chance.

Other people had fallen a whole bunch.

And Henry had fallen a bunch.

And she didn't fall at all.

So I'm like, I think you've got this.

PHIL KEOGHAN: So this is it.

It's all in here.

If you lose this race, you will be out of "The Amazing Race."

Your teammates are counting on you right now.

You have one sh*t at this.

Are you ready to race?

All right, we have our official. He's ready.

Are you ready, official?

- I'm ready. - All right.

Are you ready?

PHIL KEOGHAN: All or nothing.

Set and-- [horn blows]

PHIL KEOGHAN: OK, they're off. SARAH: Go, April!

Come on! You got this!

ERIC: Daniel, slow and steady!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Frites are off already.

Daniel has lost his frites.

ERIC: Let's go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: April has got a nice steady lead.

SARAH: Keep going, April!

Keep going, April! ERIC: Come on, Daniel!

Let's go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Daniel is coming from behind.

ERIC: Catch it up!

PHIL KEOGHAN: It's a very, very close race.

Daniel steered off the track.

ERIC: Daniel, go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: They're neck-and-neck as they're

making their way through the slalom course right now.

ERIC: Daniel, [inaudible]!

Oh, whoa!

ERIC: Daniel, go, go, go, go, go, go!

PHIL KEOGHAN: They've collided.

And April's twisted around in completely the wrong direction.

SARAH: Don't go backwards, April!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Daniel has turned around, done a .

ERIC: Come on! Woo!

Good job, man.

Good job.

You're ahead. Slow and steady.

PHIL KEOGHAN: April's looking ahead.

It's about feet right now.

Don't give up, don't give up!

ERIC: Hey, keep slow, Daniel!

Keep slow!

You've got a good lead!

Slow!

PHIL KEOGHAN: Daniel is coming over the bridge right now.

ERIC: Keep slow!

Slow.

Don't get confident. Get down.

PHIL KEOGHAN: April is now going over the bridge.

This is high-stakes right now.

SARAH: Don't give up! You never know!

PHIL KEOGHAN: This is it.

This is the race.

The race is on the line.

Let's go, let's go!

SARAH: Keep going, April!

You've got this!

Woo!

PHIL KEOGHAN: And the firefighters

have made it across the line.

SARAH: Finish strong, April.

Finish strong.

PHIL KEOGHAN: They have defeated team Goat Yoga here in Belgium.

Good job, girls.

We're sorry.

I wish we didn't have to do [inaudible]..

Good job.

That is pretty tough, guys.

That is really tough.

April, huge props for agreeing to go out a second time

and take these guys on Head-to-Head.

And you guys, this could have been the end of your race

today, but you've got a second chance.

We're ecstatic about it.

We love that we're still here.

They completed those diamonds, and we took forever.

And they were the better team today.

Unfortunately, April and Sarah, you are the last team.

And I'm sorry to tell you you have

been eliminated from the race.

We gave it a sh*t.

- I mean, we made it here. - And that's what we do.

We do it all--

we give everything a sh*t.

"The Amazing Race" has been an incredible experience.

We really did do our best.

And that's all that I wanted to do is our very best.

SARAH: We're ending on a really good note.

It's just another crazy April and Sarah thing we did.

We tend to do that fairly often.

Yes, we do.
