NARRATOR: On this fine day in Word World,

Dog decided to throw a big party at his house,

and all his WordFriends were invited.

And Dog asked me to help him get ready for it.

NARRATOR: He did?Mm-hmm.

He sure did, Mr. Narrator.

That's because I know how to throw the best parties ever.

I have quite the party reputation, you know.

[softly snoring]

Oh, Dog!

I'm here.

Let's get this party started!

[barks]

♪ Eating yummy food

Okay, let's get the party stuff ready, Dog.

[gasps]

[barking]

What are we going to do with that?

[gasps]

[whines]

This isn't going to be the best party ever.

It's going to be the worst party ever.

[knocking on door]

[gasps]

Someone's here already.

Hi, Duck.

I'm here for Dog's party.

[screams]

Oh, Sheep.

We're in trouble.

Oh, dear. What's the matter?

All we have for the party

is this box of letter "H's."

And we can't have a party with just the letter "H."

[sighs, quacks]

You have a box full of the letter "H"?

Then you don't have a problem at all.

Huh? Huh?

"H" is a helpful, happy letter.

Listen to the sound it makes.

Ha-ha-ha.

Just like you're laughing.

Oh.

Uh...

ha-ha-ha.

[laughs][barks]

[both laughing]

Hey, Sheep, you're right.

But how are we going to make a party

with the letter "H"? I mean, we need

silly stuff to wear, and, uh, games,

and food. Uh-huh, uh-huh.

[barking fanfare]

Yeah, yeah, that's right, Dog.

And music, too.

We can't have a party without music.

Well, Duck, we can have all those things

Oh, I don't know about you,

but I've never once been to any party

where there isn't something silly to wear.

[Bug laughs]

NARRATOR: That's right-- ball!

[barking and panting]

[barking]

[groans]

NARRATOR: I'm sure they would love to play with you, too,

[sad groan]

[panting, barking]

[playful growling]

NARRATOR: What are you doing, Dog?

[happy grunting]

NARRATOR: Oh, I see!

[confused groan]

[Dog barking, panting]

[barks, pants]

And, um... you want me to, um,

uh, bake some food with the "B"?

Uh-uh, uh-uh.

Well, you've chosen the right letter, Dog.

Because "B" is a great b-b-breakfast letter.

[whimpers]

[laughs]: That's right!

[frustrated groan]

Pig, you're not listening to Dog.

He's trying to tell you something.

Huh?

[excited growling]

[laughs]: Oh, of course.

You want to bounce with your bagel.

Bagels with a bounce.

Ooh, I like it.

eat it? [giggles]

I'm getting dizzy. [moans]

[groans]

[laughing]

NARRATOR: Dog didn't seem to have much luck

getting his friend Pig to listen to him.

[groans]

Oh, keep trying, Dog.

[pants]

Come on, this way!

[buzzing, barking]

[panting]

[sighs]

[curious groan]

[panting]

Good idea, Dog.

Maybe Sheep can help you.

[whines, panting]

[barks "hello"] Shh!

You'll wake the baby.

[quiet growl]

[panting]

Oh, that's a nice letter "B," Dog.

What do you want to do with it?

Make a b-b-bib?

Or a b-b-binkie?

Well, there.

Mm-mm.

[sputters]

When you do that with your ears, Dog,

you look like a baby in a baby bonnet.

[confused groan]

NARRATOR: Since she didn't understand what Dog wanted,

he decided to ask Frog for help.

So, let me see if I have this right.

[panting]

[barks]

[sighs]That's such a relief.

[howls]

But I think he wants something.

I know. He wants a bagel.

No, he wants a baby bottle.

I believe he wants a bubble.

[barks]
