- Norville and I are trying to catch that nut.

It'’s a wiggling walnut.

[walnut rattling]

I made it with my magic stick, because today,

all the magic words start with the "wuh" sound

and this letter...

the letter W.

That'’s why I can make a wiggling walnut.

Both words start with "wuh" and W.

Ooh, there it is, Norville.

[both grunt]

Boy, this is one tough nut to catch.

- Uh-huh.

- Well, you know what they say.

both: Whoa.

- Wiggling with a walnut.

[upbeat music]

- Excuse me, Wally Trollman.

Did you just say "show-and-tell?"

- Yeah, Bobgoblin.

We'’re doing show-and-tell today.

Did you forget?

- What?

Bobgoblin would never forget

about show-and-tell.

[laughs nervously]

- Okay.

- Oh, no!

Bobgoblin forgot about show-and-tell.

Bobgoblin didn'’t bring anything in to show.

Ooh, maybe there'’s something in Bobgoblin'’s cubby.

Just my lunch.

[sniffs]

Mmm.

Rotten tomato.

[munches]

- I'’m so excited. - Me too.

- All right, everyone, take your seats.

- Ooh.

That'’s our teacher, Mrs. Gnomeowitz.

- Good morning, class!

all: Good morning, Mrs. Gnomeowitz!

- Welcome to another day

of school!

It'’s a big day today, because today,

we'’re having show-and-tell.

So who would like to go first?

- Oh, me.

Me, me, me, me!

- Okay, take it away, Gina.

- Hello, class.

For today'’s show-and-tell,

I brought in a very special friend,

and his name is...

Lorenzo.

Hi, Lorenzo.

Can you please tell the class all about yourself?

[Latin accent] But of course.

I am a wolf, and I talk like this.

Hello.

And I laugh like this.

Ho, ho, ho!

And I walk like this.

Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo--

Whoops!

And I trip like that.

[laughter]

And finally, I bow like this.

[laughs]

[regular voice] Thanks, Lorenzo.

- Oh, I hope Mrs. Gnomeowitz doesn'’t pick Bobgoblin.

I still haven'’t found anything to show.

[gasps] Oh, wait.

Maybe there'’s something under my chair.

Or in my desk.

Or in Wally Trollman'’s desk!

- Bobgoblin.

- Wally.

Why don'’t you go next?

- Uh, sure, Mrs. Gnomeowitz.

Hi, everybody.

For show-and-tell today,

I brought in

a wiggling walnut.

[rattling]

Watch this.

[laughter]

- Whoa! - Watch out.

- [laughing]

- [laughing]

I'’ve never seen anything like that before.

Where did you get it, Wally?

- Well, I made it with my magic stick,

because today,

all the magic words start with the "wuh" sound

and the letter W.

So I can make any "wuh" word.

- Any "wuh" word?

[gasps] That is it!

Bobgoblin will get Wally Trollman

to make him a word for show-and-tell.

Excuse me, Wally Trollman, could you make the word, uh,

wuh--wacky?

- Hmm.

Wacky.

W...acky.

Does "wacky" start with "wuh"?

Yeah, it does.

"Wacky" is a magic word.

But what does it mean?

- It means silly or weird.

And you'’re gonna love it,

because it'’s Bobgoblin'’s show-and-tell!

- Huh?

- Hello, class.

Bobgoblin will now tell you all about the word "wacky."

It'’s, um, a very nice word.

It'’s, um, made of these things called letters.

And--ooh! It can do this!

- No, Bobgoblin, don'’t!

- [grunts]

[zany music]

- Whoa!

- Whoa.

- Whoa!

- [gasps] What is going on?

[chalk scribbling]

Uh-oh.

That'’s not supposed to happen.

[desks barking]

That'’s not supposed to happen either.

- Wally.

We'’re dancing!

- And we can'’t stop!

- This is not supposed to happen.

- I know.

Bobgoblin used the word "wacky,"

and now...

everything in our school

is silly and weird.

- That'’s right!

Here we have students who can'’t stop dancing.

It'’s wacky!

- Okay.

But how do we stop?

- Uh, don'’t worry.

We'’ll find a way.

[desks barking]

- Oh, dear.

My classroom is going out the door,

and so am I.

[all gasp]

Mrs. Gnomeowitz!

- Guys, our teacher just floated out the door.

[desks barking]

- Whoa! Oh.

- I'’m coming, Mrs. Gnomeowitz!

- What'’s going on?

- The whole school'’s gone wacky, buddy.

Everything is silly and weird.

- Whoa, you'’re telling me.

I mean, I'’m light as a feather.

- Hang on, Mrs. Gnomeowitz!

I'’ll get you down!

- Don'’t worry about me, Wally.

There are lots of other wacky things to fix first.

- Well, we can help get everything back to normal,

right, buddy?

- [barks]

- I would really like that.

Thank you. Whoo-hoo-ooh!

Because I can spot the chalk

causing some big trouble in town.

- We'’re on it.

- Yeah.

- Good luck! Don'’t worry about me!

I'’m fine! Everything'’s cool.

[chalk scribbling]

- [gasps] Uh-oh. Look!

The chalk'’s drawing everywhere.

- Yeah, everywhere.

- That'’s right!

Here is another wacky thing.

It'’s chalk drawing pictures by itself,

like smiley faces

and flowers

and big, poofy clown wigs on Bobgoblin!

Clowngoblin.

[laughs]

It'’s very wacky.

- Bobgoblin.

what are you doing?

- I'’m doing my show-and-tell.

Bye-bye!

- Come on, buddy.

Let'’s stop this chalk.

- [barks]

[both grunting]

[chalk scribbling]

- Ooh, there it goes.

- [barks]

[chalk scribbling]

Over there!

- [grunts]

This way!

- [barks]

- Quick, Norville, hopscotch.

both: Hip, hip, hip, hip, hip, and ha!

[both grunting]

both: Whoa, whoa.

- It went that way!

- That way!

[both sigh]

- Wow, this chalk is hard to catch.

- Uh-huh.

[chalk scribbling]

- And it made me look like a bunny.

- [laughs]

Uh-huh.

- And it just drew a fish on your head.

- It did? [gasps]

Hey, a fish on my head?

Ohh.

- We need help to catch it.

Magic stick, give me a word.

Yeah, web.

We can catch the chalk

[chalk scribbling]

It'’s gonna take us a long time to wash them all off.

[gasps]

[wave splashes]

- Great work, Wally!

- Oh.

Uh, thanks, Mrs. Gnomeowitz.

- [gasps]

Oh, no!

But now I can see the desks running around

right over--whoa!

Huh? No, I mean...

there!

- Don'’t worry. We'’ll get the desks.

- [barks]

- You'’re a wonderful student, Wally.

[desks barking]

- Ooh. There are the desks.

[desks barking]

But what are they doing?

[desk barks, sniffs]

- Hmm, I don'’t know.

- They'’re acting a lot like dogs.

[gasps] Norville,

these desks must think they'’re dogs.

- You are correct, sir.

Here we have some wacky desks

who think they'’re dogs.

Who'’s a good desk?

Are you a good desk?

Can you hold pencils?

Yes, you can.

Now, go get the eraser, boy!

[desk barking]

[desks barking] See?

It'’s silly.

It'’s weird.

It'’s wacky!

- [sighs]

- Hurry, Norville,

let'’s get these desks back to school.

- [barks]

- Come on, desks.

[desks barking]

both: Desks!

- Follow us! - [barking]

Huh, these doggy desks aren'’t listening.

- Uh-uh.

- Hmm. [gasps]

[inhales deeply] Pfft!

- [inhales deeply] Pfft!

Norville, are you trying to whistle?

- Uh-huh.

[inhales deeply] Pfft!

- Ooh, great idea.

Dogs listen to you when you whistle, like this.

[whistles feebly]

It looks like I can'’t whistle either.

[gasps] Hang on.

Whistle.

[zany music]

- Wally!

We'’re still dancing!

- And we still can'’t stop.

- It'’s very wacky.

- Coming, guys!

all: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

- Uh-oh. Look.

They'’re dancing straight for that cliff.

Turn around, you guys!

all: We can'’t!

- Go the other way, legs.

Go the other way!

- We need to stop them.

Magic stick, give me a word.

Of course, "wall."

They won'’t go over that cliff

if there'’s a...wall.

[all thudding]

- Nice wall, Wally.

- Yeah.

Now, if you can please help us stop dancing.

My legs are getting really tired.

- Me too!

I don'’t want to kick anymore.

I just want to walk!

- [gasps] Ooh, walk.

Here is another wacky thing.

- Actually,

now I'’m floating away!

- Bobgoblin'’s teacher is floating away.

Bobgoblin'’s teacher is floating away?

Oh, no!

Bobgoblin doesn'’t want his teacher to float away.

You got to save her, Wally Trollman!

- I know, Bobgoblin, but how can I get up there?

- Ooh, I can help.

Hop on.

- We'’re coming, Mrs. Gnomeowitz!

But how do we get you down?

- I don'’t know, Wally.

I'’m still as light as a feather.

- Ooh, but what if I grab onto you?

Then you'’ll be heavier.

- Yes!

And if I'’m heavier, I'’ll sink to the ground.

I can see you were paying attention in science class.

- But we got to reach you first.

Tiptoes, do your thing.

[both grunting]

- Gotcha!

- Bravo! - Whoo-hoo!

- Uh-oh.

- Whoa. Oh, dear.

Still floating.

- Don'’t worry.

I'’m coming, Mrs. Gnomeowitz!

[grunts]

Bobgoblin did it!

We'’re so heavy, we'’re sinking to the ground!

- We just keep going higher and higher.

- We'’re still just too light.

If only we had something heavy to grab onto,

like rocks.

- Ooh! Or maybe weights?

- Rocks or weights.

and weights are heavy.

- Good thinking, boys.

We fixed all the wacky problems,

and now our school'’s back to normal.

- [gasps]

- Wait, Mrs. Gnomeowitz,

- Well, Bobgoblin, when you write a name,

you have to start with an uppercase letter, like this.

And that'’s a lowercase B.
