Welcome to Chef Franny’s Frantastic Food Show!

[all] Yay! Franny!

And this is my helper, Tilly the taster.

[babies] Yay, Tilly!

Today is very special

because today we’re making...

-cupcakes! -[chattering and cheering]

Let’s look at our ingredients.

[whispers] Ingredients are the things you need to make the cupcakes. [chuckles]

Cookitybot!

[Franny] Hello, Cookitybot.

Well, looks like we need

a special cupcake mix and one egg

and a carton of milk.

And noodles!

Uh, there aren’t any noodles in cupcakes, Lulu.

Just a little noodle?

Nope. It’s just cupcake mix and...

One noodle?

Why do you want noodles in these cupcakes?

Well, because... [squeals softly]

Ah.

Good, good, good, good, good. [chuckles]

You ready, Cookity? [chuckles]

-[Cookity powering up] -[Franny] Oh, oh.

He’s mixing.

[gasps] He’s cooking.

Ooh, I can smell them.

-[Lulu] Ah! Yay! -[all] Wow.

It’s so beautiful.

Oh, no. This is only one cupcake.

There’s not enough for all of us.

Oh, it’s enough for me. [laughs]

[making eating sounds]

-No! -Huh?

We each need a cupcake.

I have to make more. Uh...

Why don’t you guys go play in the playroom

while I keep cooking with Tilly?

[Kip] Okay.

[clears throat]

Welcome to the Super Silly Restaurant,

-where all the food is pretend... -Oh.

...except for dessert.

Um, would you like some pretend apple?

-Oh. -Here you go.

Lulu’s hungry. Ah.

[making eating sounds]

-[gasps] -Oh.

-Kip? -What?

This apple tastes like a banana!

[gasps] Oh, no!

-Not the banana apple. -[laughs]

-Yes. -Oh, I’ll get you another one right away.

Oh, thank you.

-Try this. -Oh, yeah.

[making eating sounds]

[gasps] Kip, this apple tastes like a carrot.

Oh, no! A carrot apple?

-Yeah. -That’s worse.

Cupcakes are all done.

Thanks, Cookity.

[chuckles] Let’s go, Tilly.

I don’t want any more pretend food.

I want real food.

♪ Da-do-da-do ♪

-The cupcakes. -[all] Oh, yay!

This time it has to be the right number.

-Ooh. -Cupcake for Bailey.

-Ooh, hello. -A cupcake for Kip.

-They look so good. -A cupcake for Tilly.

-A cupcake for me. -Yay! Yeah.

-Oh, oh. -No cupcake for Lulu?

Oh! I made a cupcake mistake!

-Oh. -I need to make

the right number of cupcakes

for the right number of babies.

What... Number?

I think we have a math problem.

-[Kip gasps] -[all] Math Molly!

[trumpeting]

-[Kip] There she is. -[Bailey] Let’s catch her.

[Kip] Come on!

Uh... Oh, come on, big kids. I need your help.

[narrator] The babies are here to use math to solve a problem.

We need to know how many babies we are

so that I know how many cupcakes to make.

Oh, how many babies is that, big kids?

[kids] One.

[Kip] That’s right. Just Tilly.

Now how many babies are there?

[kids] Two.

[Bailey] Yep. One, two.

Oh, there’s me! How many babies is that?

-[kids] Three. -[Lulu] Yeah.

One, two, three.

-Three babies. -[all giggle]

Oh. How many babies now?

[kids] Four.

One, two, three, four.

Four babies.

But I’m not in the picture.

Ah, there I am.

How many babies are there now?

[kids] Five.

Oh, that means I need five cupcakes.

Because there are...

one, two, three, four, five.

Five babies! Ah.

Counting is very tricky.

-Yeah. -Mmm-hmm.

-Where are you going? -Tilly?

[speaking Mandaring]

Did Tilly just count to five in Mandarin?

Good job, Tilly. And now we can eat cupcake!

[all] Yeah!

-Stop! Stop! -Uh-oh.

First, a...

[all] Math party!

[all cheering]

[music playing]

♪ We stopped to think the problem out ♪

Oh, these cupcakes are yummy.

Well, these cupcakes don’t have noodles.

-Huh? -[babbling]

But I love them!

[all laughing]

I’m just happy we finally had

five cupcakes for five babies.

Yeah, and I’m so happy that, woohoo-hoo,

I’m hoppy! [laughing]

Me, too! We’re five babies hopping.

-Yeah! -Yeah.

Oh, oh. Let’s play the five babies game.

Where we hop, hop, hop, and bop, bop, bop.

-[all cheering] -Come on!

♪ Hop-hop-hopping round a tree ♪

♪ Kip hop-hopity hops away ♪

[gasps] Look! A bumblebee!

♪ Four babies tapping ♪

♪ Tap-tap-tapping on our knees ♪

♪ Let’s all get a snack in ♪

♪ Pass the ice cream please ♪

♪ Tilly leaves to take a bath ♪

♪ Now we’re only three ♪

♪ Three babies skipping ♪

♪ Skip-skip-skipping on their toes ♪

♪ Skipping round the garden ♪

♪ Bailey stops to smell a rose ♪

Ah.

♪ So now there’s two babies sliding ♪

♪ Slide-slide-sliding down a slide ♪

Whoo!

♪ Lulu keeps on sliding ♪

♪ Franny takes off for a ride ♪

See you later!

♪ One baby dancing ♪

♪ Dance with Raffe round the room ♪

Woohoo-hoo!

♪ Everybody join the fun ♪

♪ So I’m not the only one ♪

Come on!

♪ One, two, three, four, five, Count everyone ♪

-♪ Five, four, three, two, one ♪ -♪ And now we’re done ♪

-[Lulu] Yay! -Thanks for helping me

count today, big kids.

-You’re smart. -Just like Franny.

-Ah. -[both laugh]

[narrator] Kip is playing explorer today,

finding animals.

I’m the best animal finder around.

And Tilly’s helping.

Ooh! [chuckles] Tilly loves taking pictures.

-[speaking Mandarin] -Smile, big kids.

Okay, now, we have to be very, very quiet

because we are looking for

the singing blue elephant.

-[Bailey humming] -[gasps] He’s near. Let’s go find him!

Oh! Oh! Tilly! [chuckles] Oh, boy.

-[Bailey continues humming] -[Kip] There he is, the blue elephant.

Let’s see if we can get a closer look.

[yawns]

Whoa.

Tilly.

-Peek-a-pop! -Oh!

[laughs] Ah, we did it. We found you!

-You did? -Yeah, yeah.

We were finding animals, and we found you.

[all laugh]

-Oh! -[Kip and Bailey laugh]

I didn’t know I was hiding, but good job.

Yeah. [chuckles] Oh. Hey, look.

We found Clickety Clock, too.

[Tilly speaking Mandarin]

-Let’s go catch him! -Okay. [chuckles] Come on!

-Get it! -Got it!

And get it!

Got it. Oh!

We got you, Clickety Clock!

What time is it, big kids?

[kids] Time to play inside.

[all] Yay!

Oh, we should take the Bubble Train.

-[all gasp] -Oh, I think Tilly wants to race us.

-[chuckles] Let’s race her. -[Lulu] Yeah, let’s race.

All aboard the Bubble Train.

Ooh! Let’s play hide and seek.

[all cheering]

I’m good at hiding.

Yeah, and I’m the best at finding, so I’ll be it.

I’ll count to five and... and you all hide.

-Okay. -Come on, Tilly, let’s play.

[Franny] I'm going to hide over here.

Oh, boy. Okay, I’m gonna start counting.

-Okay, one, two... -Maybe over here.

-...three, four, five. -[shushing]

-Ready or not, here I come. -[Franny giggling]

[chuckles gleefully] Oh, I found Lulu and Tilly.

-Oh. -Wow, I am really good at this.

Wait, it’s no fair. We weren’t ready. Start again.

-What’s going on? -We couldn’t hide.

Kippie needs to count more numbers.

Well, I... I counted to five.

But five wasn’t enough.

Count to a higher number, like, um, ten.

-Yes, yes. Count to ten. -Ten? Oh, okay.

Uh, well, I can do that. [chuckles] That’s as easy as a wallaby hop.

Okay, counting to ten.

-One, two, ten. -[all whispering]

-Found you. I win again. -Huh?

But, um, Kip, you have to count

all the numbers between one and ten.

Oh, right. [chuckles] Okay, I can do this. Ah.

Everybody hide again. [inhales]

-One, two, three... -[all whispering]

...four, five...

Uh, uh, five.

Uh, uh... What comes after five?

Uh... F... Five-teen. No.

Uh, five... Five-ten.

Um, uh... Five kamajillion billion? That’s crazy.

[ticking]

Oh.

Hello?

-Hmm? -[both scream]

-[both laughing] -Sorry, Franny.

I didn’t mean to scare you.

[shushing] We’re still hiding from Kip.

[speaking Mandarin]

Where is Kip? He should be here by now.

Maybe we’re just really good at hiding.

I don’t think we’re that good.

Um, maybe we should check on Kip.

Yeah.

I still think I’m really good at hiding.

And so is Tilly.

Katrillion. No, a gazillion.

No, a... A million wallababy-zillion!

-No, uh... Wha-- -Kippie. Kip, you’re not counting right.

-I... I’m not? -No.

Well, uh, let’s play a different game then,

uh, one without counting. [chuckles]

No counting? Why not?

Well, I... I just don’t want to.

I... It’s not fun.

But, um, Kip, you love hide and seek.

I know. I do.

But it’s, uh... I just don’t remember how to...

How to count all the way to ten.

You don’t? But it’s easy.

It’s one, two, three,

four, five... I forgot the rest.

-Uh, Math Molly? -Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Yeah!

-[all] Math Molly! -[trumpeting]

She can help me. [chuckles]

-[overlapping chatter] -Oh, there she is!

[narrator] The babies are here to use math to solve a problem.

I told you I was the best at finding.
