we're on our way,

to help a friend and save the day.

We're not too big, and we're not too tough,

[bee buzzing]

[school bell rings]

[teacher] It's time to go, everyone.

[kid] I watered the plants and flowers today, Mom.

[mom] That's great.

[kid] See you, Tuck.

[kid] Bye, Ming-Ming. Bye, Linny.

[kid] Bye-bye, everybody.

[jingling]

[jingling continues]

[classical music]

♪ The phone, the phone is ringing. ♪

♪ The phone, we'll be right there. ♪

♪ The phone, the phone is ringing. ♪

♪ There's an animal in trouble. ♪

♪ There's an animal in trouble. ♪

♪ There's an animal in trouble somewhere. ♪

Listen.

♪ I'm listening, but I don't hear anything. ♪

Me neither. Maybe it's a wrong number.

No, wait. Look.

♪ It's a little tree, in the city. ♪

[Tuck] ♪ He's all by himself in a dirty lot. ♪

♪ It's a tragedy.

Do the Wonder Pets save twees, Linny?

Sure we do, Ming-Ming.

Trees are living things too.

♪ A little tree, in the city. ♪

♪ This is se-wious.

♪ We have to help him. ♪

♪ Let's save the tree.

We look like a garden.

[all laugh]

♪ Tuck.

sometimes you have to ask

for help, no matter who you are.

Hop in the Flyboat, Wonder Pets.

We've got a little tree to save.

We are coming to save you, little tree,

because you are a living thing too.

[all] Whee!

♪ we're on our way, to help a little tree ♪

♪ and save the day.

♪ We're not too big.

♪ And we're not too tough. ♪

[all] ♪ But when we work together, we've got the right stuff. ♪

[Linny] Look, Wonder Pets. The city.

[Tuck] It's so big.

[Ming-Ming] Not too big for me.

[Tuck] There are some birds.

[Ming-Ming] They're pigeons. City birds.

They run this place. Hi.

[pigeons cooing]

[all] Whee!

thump!

Whoa. That was a rough landing.

Yes, the city can be a hard place.

Look at this empty lot.

Talk about twashy.

And there's the little tree.

[Linny] Good eye, Tuck.

Poor little tree.

He's all alone in this dark and dirty lot.

[Ming-Ming] And he looks thirsty.

[percussive music]

♪ This tree's in trouble, Wonder Pets. ♪

♪ So whatever can we do?

♪ Well, I don't know.

♪ I've never tried to save a tree. ♪

♪ We could start with all this litter. ♪

♪ We could clean this place wight up. ♪

♪ We can make a cozy home for little tree. ♪

[Ming-Ming] ♪ I'm a super

♪ picker-upper.

♪ I love these stretchy gloves. ♪

♪ We'll move these boxes, yes, sirree. ♪

♪ and get sunlight for the twee. ♪

[Linny] ♪ Let's work together, Wonder Pets. ♪

♪ Putting trash in the trash can. ♪

[Ming-Ming] ♪ Making a sweet home for little twee. ♪

[all] ♪ All done.

Let's see how the little tree's doing.

What's happening?

I'm not sure.

[Tuck] Please don't--

fall.

Bummer.

We've got to do more

for this little tree, Wonder Pets.

What can we do, Linny?

He sure looks thirsty.

[chimes tinkling]

[all] Water!

That's it, Wonder Pets.

All living things need water.

I know I do.

But where are we going to get water from?

Water doesn't grow on trees, you know.

[percussive music]

♪ We could use the rainwater. ♪

♪ But it doesn't look like rain. ♪

♪ No, I saw a pail of water. ♪

♪ Follow me.

♪ You're right, Tuck. ♪

♪ This pail of water's heavy. ♪

♪ It's a good thing that I'm here. ♪

♪ Okay, let's lift all together-- ♪

♪ one, two, three.

♪ Be careful not to spill.

♪ Be careful not to trip.

♪ We're on our way with water, little tree. ♪

[water splashes]

I hope the water helps.

The suspense is k*lling me.

ting!

Oh, no.

Just one leaf left.

Now, Linny?

Now.

♪ This is se-wious.

We've got to save this little tree and fast.

But how?

Let's think, Wonder Pets.

I have no ideas. For once.

Hey.

What is it, Tuck?

♪ If trees are living things, like us, ♪

♪ they shouldn't be alone.

♪ This poor little tree

♪ is lonely on his own.

♪ So maybe, just maybe, ♪

♪ I think it's worth a chance.

♪ Let's surround the little tree ♪

♪ with lots and lots of plants. ♪

Great idea, Tuck.

We'll make a garden

with lots of flowers.

And trees and vegetables.

It will be pawadise.

But it takes a long time to grow flowers from seeds.

I know.

We can bring

our own plants and flowers, Linny.

Great idea, Ming-Ming.

But how will we plant a whole garden fast enough?

[all] Hmm...

[pigeons coo]

Let's ask for help.

Help?

But we're the Wonder Pets.

Sometimes you have to ask for help, Tuck,

no matter who you are.

You're right, Ming-Ming.

We need a bigger team for this gardening job.

Okay, let's get some help.

[percussive music]

We could use your help planting our city garden.

You in?

Come on.

[pigeons cooing]

[water splashing]

clap!

Let's do that together.

[Linny] We did it.

It was a wegular teamwork extravaganza.

Now let's go check on our tree, Wonder Pets.

[Tuck] Its last leaf.

[Ming-Ming] It's trembling.

So am I.

[Ming-Ming] Poor twee.

[Tuck] The leaf is going to fall.

[all gasp]

pop!

[all] Hooray!

[animals bark, meow, and chatter]

[Linny] A cherry blossom.

We did it.

We saved the tree.

He's such a twee hugger.

[Linny] And we couldn't have done it without all of you.

[Ming-Ming] Our new city fwiends.

[Tuck] We love you guys.

[animals] Aww...

Well, Wonder Pets,

our work here is done.

This calls for some celery.

[cat meows excitedly]

Mmm, fresh city celery.

Dig in, Wonder Pets.

Mmm. That hit the spot.

To the Flyboat?

To the Flyboat.

[Tuck] So long.

[Linny] Thanks for your help.

[Ming-Ming] Enjoy your garden.

[triumphant music]

[all] ♪ Wonder Pets, Wonder Pets. ♪

♪ We found a way, to help a little tree, ♪

♪ and save the day.

[bellowing]

♪ We have to help him. ♪

[Ming-Ming and Tuck] ♪ Let's save the elephant.

We look like a doll.

[laughter]

♪ Linny.

♪ Tuck.

♪ And Ming-Ming, too. ♪

[all] ♪ We're Wonder Pets, and we'll help you. ♪

[grunts]

Need a hand, Ming-Ming?

[grunts] Yes.

[all] Ooh.

Hop in the Flyboat, Wonder Pets.

We've got a baby elephant to save.

thump!

[Tuck] Who put that there?

[Ming-Ming] Wasn't me.

Hmm. We're stuck.

I know.

♪ We need-- a seesaw. ♪

♪ A seesaw.

♪ I'll get the round part. ♪

♪ I'll get the long part. ♪

[all] ♪ A seesaw.

Why do we need a seesaw, Linny?

When the seesaw goes down,

the beanbag will go up,

and the Flyboat will be free.

How very clever.

Wonder Pets, you get on the seesaw

and I'll pull the Flyboat out.

♪ What's going to work? ♪

[Ming-Ming and Tuck] ♪ Teamwork.

♪ What's going to work? ♪

[all] ♪ Teamwork.

It's working, all wight.

Way to go, Wonder Pets.

Our path is clear.

We are coming

tp save you, baby elephant.

[all] Whee! Yay!

♪ We're on our way to help a baby elephant ♪

♪ and save the day.

[drums b*ating]

[Ming-Ming] Where are we?

[Linny] This is Kenya.

It's in Africa.

[Tuck and Ming-Ming] Ooh.

There are cool twees in Kenya.

[Tuck] And big animals too.

[Ming-Ming] Look, a zebra. Love your stwipes!

[all] Wee! Yay!

Woo-hoo!

Hey, Wonder Pets,

let's put on our safari hats.

Good idea, Linny.

This way we won't stand out.

We'll fit right in.

Now, where's that elephant?

[all] Hmm.

♪ Linny? Is that the elephant? ♪

♪ He's big and grey. ♪

Yes, but he doesn't have a trunk.

Elephants have trunks.

♪ Oh, right, a trunk. ♪

What's a trunk?

♪ I know.

♪ A trunk is a very long nose. ♪

♪ It hangs down from an elephant's face. ♪

♪ And that... is what a trunk is. ♪

You're right, Ming-Ming.

So if that's not an elephant,

Linny, what is it?

It's a hippo.

And he seems to like grapes.

[bellowing]

Look over there.

It looks like the elephant.

♪ He's so big, and he's grey. ♪

♪ But where's his twunk? ♪

♪ His twunk--

♪ I mean, his trunk-- ♪

♪ is stuck in the mud. ♪

[elephant bellows]

Don't worry.

We'll save you, baby elephant.

But how will we save the baby elephant?

[all] Hmm.

If only there was something we could all grab onto.

What? Huh? Hey.

How about the tail?

♪ Let's grab the tail.

♪ The tail, the tail.

♪ Grab hold the tail.

[all] ♪ Grab hold of the tail.

Wonder Pets, pull.

[all grunting]

[elephant bellows]

♪ He's really heavy.

♪ He's really stuck. ♪

♪ The Flyboat was stuck, ♪

♪ but we got it out with a seesaw. ♪

[all] ♪ A seesaw.

Good idea, Tuck.

But our seesaw's in the classroom.

♪ We'll make a new seesaw-- ♪

with things we find around here.

Let's look.

[Tuck and Ming-Ming] Okay.

First, we need a round part for the bottom of the seesaw.

One round part, coming wight up.

Hello, bird fwiend.

Could I borrow your rock?

Pretty please?

[grunting]

I weally am strong.

I got the round part.

Great. Now we just need the long part.

Look!

[Tuck] One long part, coming up.

[elephant bellows]

It'll be all right, elephant.

We're working on it.

Hurry, Wonder Pets,

the baby elephant is sinking deeper.

♪ Sinking deeper?

♪ This is se-wious.

♪ Now, the seesaw goes down. ♪

[all] ♪ And the elephant goes up.

Okay Wonder Pets,

push down.

[all grunting]

He's too heavy.

We got to push down harder.

[Ming-Ming and Linny grunt]

♪ I wish I was heavy,

♪ heavy, heavy, heavy.

♪ Heavy, heavy, heavy

♪ like the hippo.

That's it, Tuck.

If that hippo gets on the seesaw,

it'll go right down.

Bwilliant.

Excuse me, Mr. Hippo.

Have you ever heard of "teamwork"?

It means working together.

We are experts.

He's too busy with his grapes.

No problem.

I will bwing

the yummy grapes--

[all] ♪ to the seesaw.

You lead the hippo.

I'll get the seesaw ready.

And I'll help the baby elephant

out of the mud.

♪ Linny.

♪ Tuck.

♪ And Ming-Ming too. ♪

[all] ♪ We're Wonder Pets, and we'll help you. ♪

♪ What's going to work?

♪ Teamwork.

[Linny] ♪ What's going to work?

[all] ♪ Teamwork.

[elephant bellows joyously]

We did it, Wonder Pets.

The elephant is free.

Give me a hug, big guy.

[elephants bellow]

You Wonder Pets are the greatest.

You really are.

We're glad to help, Mrs. Elephant.

This calls for some celery.

Care for some grape juice on your celery?

[Tuck and Linny] Sure.

[all] Mmm.

Thanks for being a team player, Mr. Hippo.

[hippo grunts]

To the Flyboat?

To the Flyboat.

[all] Bye, elephants. Bye, hippo.

[elephants bellow]
